Transcript
00:00All right you guys want to see something cool? Something interesting?
00:04All right we're in South Carolina right now just south of North Carolina.
00:08So we got a plow working the roads here.
00:13Dropping salt. His back was loaded with salt. You can see this roadway. It's flat, slushy.
00:24Overall it's in pretty good shape. All right we're going to drive up the road here about
00:30500 yards or so.
00:37And we're going to cross into North Carolina. All right here we go. There's the sign,
00:41welcome to North Carolina. All right well I guess South Carolinians are dragging some
00:48salt here into North Carolina but watch things are about to change here dramatically.
00:53Some salt's melting the surface here but here we go we're in North Carolina now guys.
00:57Much different situation here in North Carolina. Snowy icy roadway.
01:08I have not seen any plows
01:12pretty much all day except for a couple of small ones working a few roads but
01:15you can see here dramatic difference just crossing the state line from South Carolina to North Carolina.
01:28Well it might be futile of South Carolinians to drop all that
01:31salt with what's coming. It might not even be able to keep up with
01:34the freezing rain tonight so we'll see what happens.
