00:00Hello there, good afternoon. Well, after the extreme heat that we've seen this week, things
00:05are starting to settle down, though saying that much of the south is going to see another
00:09hot and humid afternoon. A bit more cloud around in places as well, certainly across
00:14the north, and this will bring in some showers across northern and western areas of Scotland,
00:19perhaps the odd one or two just drifting into coasts of Northern Ireland and north-west
00:22England. But you can see on the whole, across much of the country, it is going to be another
00:27dry day, some bright, if not sunny spells by the afternoon, certainly across the south.
00:33And this is where it is going to be still rather hot, temperatures pushing into the high
00:3620s. We may even see a localised 30 degrees Celsius, so still a little bit uncomfortable
00:41if you're heading out this afternoon. A little bit cooler, fresher towards the north, though
00:46temperatures still pushing into the low 20s here, so warm, pleasant in any sunshine, but
00:51more towards average for this point of the year. Now, to finish off the day, lots of
00:57dry spells, clear skies across much of England and Wales, though we will eventually start
01:01to see more cloud pushing in from the west. Still a few showers across Scotland, eventually
01:06easing away, being replaced, though, by longer spells of rain and drizzle pushing their way
01:10into the north-west as we head towards the early hours of Sunday. And some of this cloud
01:15will be thick enough to produce some light outbreaks of rain and drizzle elsewhere across
01:20England and Wales. But overall, tonight is not going to be feeling quite as warm as some
01:25of the nights we've had this week. Temperatures still could be pushing into the mid to high
01:29teens across parts of the south, but for many areas it is going to feel that bit cooler as
01:34we head our way into Sunday morning. And overall Sunday looks like a much cloudier picture. Some
01:41rain and drizzle, mostly confined towards the north-west, but some areas of England and Wales
01:45could see a light spot of rain or two. Some brighter spells developing into the afternoon,
01:50and you can see many areas are still remaining mostly dry. And it's really across Northern
01:55Ireland, Western Scotland, where we'll see the bulk of any rain and drizzle. But even here,
01:59it should be mostly light. But towards the north, it's probably going to be a grayer day,
02:03certainly if you compare it to what we'll see this afternoon. Temperatures are touched down,
02:07certainly across northern areas, down by a degree or two. And even areas of the south,
02:11temperatures will come down tomorrow, but still feeling warm in that sunshine. Highs between 25 to 27
02:17degrees Celsius. Wind still fairly light as well, so it's still going to be feeling rather warmer.
02:21We do see any brighter spells or even some sunshine later on into the day. And there is some rain
02:28in
02:28the forecast, but a lot of that rain still continues to be focused towards the north-west. Low pressure
02:33just drifting in towards the south of Iceland there. And eventually frontal systems do start to push their
02:39way south and eastwards, but they're rather weak features. So we will see some spots of rain across
02:45some of the south, but very small amounts and certainly not enough to make too much of a difference
