00:15How did you and Kelly become close friends?
00:17I was watching Kelly's show when I was young, and I read her book.
00:22During my interview with Alex Cooper, she asked me,
00:25what made you come to New York? And I know how they always want a one-sentence answer.
00:32Obviously, it was never just one thing.
00:37But on the spot, I'm like, well, I really liked Kelly Catrone, and I thought she was cool.
00:41Watching her show, I thought fashion PR was so cool, and that was my answer.
00:47And I guess Ava, her daughter, listened to the interview, and she told Kelly about it.
00:54And then Kelly went on Leah McSweeney's podcast, and I guess she called me out,
01:00because back then I was on house arrest, and I was doing, like, all these parties in my home.
01:05She's like, well, Anna, you say I'm the reason you came to New York,
01:09but you never invite me to any of your parties.
01:11Oh, my God.
01:12I love it. So you invited her, and then the rest is history?
01:14We got connected through, like, a mutual friend,
01:17and this is when we put together the rooftop show.
01:20I love that. Has she been good at giving you advice,
01:25or do you go to her for advice for things to do in the media world?
01:29Yeah, yeah. So we don't ā she doesn't work for me.
01:31She's just a friend. Like, everyone thinks she's my PR person, but no.
01:35No, she's great. She doesn't represent people.
01:37She only works for brands.
01:39Did you watch The Hills in the City, or did you watch Kel on Earth,
01:41the show about just Kelly?
01:43Kel on Earth, yeah.
01:44Oh, okay.
01:45So that's a whole different scenario.
01:48That show was crazy.
