00:04Today, it's all about the brand new Ferrari Amalfi, the successor to the elegant Roma.
00:11The Italian sports car manufacturer will be presenting a new entry into the world of luxurious high-performance coupes from the beginning of 2026,
00:19featuring a proven concept but with a fresh design and more power.
00:24After five years of production, the Ferrari Roma was discontinued in Maranello at the end of 2024.
00:30Now the Amalfi is taking over its role.
00:34It is inspired by the picturesque coast of southern Italy and continues the line of stylish two-seaters with a front engine.
00:42Like the Roma, the Amalfi is also available as a coupe and possibly later as a convertible,
00:47although only emergency seats are provided in the back, which are unlikely to be seriously usable in practice.
00:53Under the hood, the familiar eight-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.9L and twin turbochargers continues to be
01:00to work. This now produces 640 horsepower, around 20 horsepower more than its predecessor.
01:07The maximum torque remains unchanged at 760 newm.
01:11That's enough for a sprint from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.3 seconds.
01:16The top speed is around 320 kilometers per hour.
01:22Values that are closely based on those of the Roma.
01:26The dimensions also remain almost identical, with the length, width, height and wheelbase being exactly the same.
01:32So around 4.7 meters long, 1.9 meters wide, 1.3 meters high and a wheelbase of around 2.7 meters.
01:43Designer Flavio Minsoni emphasizes that the chassis has been largely retained,
01:47but changes have been made to the positioning of technical components.
01:50This has allowed individual areas of the body, such as the front section, to be completely redesigned.
01:57Particularly noticeable is the elimination of the traditional radiator grille.
02:02A decision that gives the new model an even more minimalist and modern look.
02:07Inside, Ferrari responded to criticism and significantly revised the ergonomics.
02:11Instead of the previously difficult-to-use touch surfaces on the steering wheel,
02:17there are now classic tactile controls.
02:21In front of the driver sits a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster,
02:25with a 10.5-inch display in the center,
02:27and even the front passenger can enjoy an 8.8-inch information display that shows,
02:32among other things, J-Forces, speed, and engine speed.
02:35As usual, Ferrari also scores points with the Amalfi thanks to high-quality workmanship
02:43and selectable sports seats or comfort seats that not only provide air conditioning
02:47but also massage with the help of 10 individually controllable air chambers.
02:54The new Amalfi will be available from the beginning of 2026 and,
02:58according to Ferrari, will be available from around 240,000.
