00:00Welcome to the new video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today we're talking about the brand new, all-electric Li Auto i6,
00:07which was shown completely uncovered for the first time and impresses with its powerful 534 horsepower.
00:15The SUV model from China was unveiled by the responsible Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before its official premiere,
00:22which often causes displeasure among manufacturers, as many details are revealed too early.
00:30For car enthusiasts, however, this is a stroke of luck, as it allows us to take a close look at the exciting specifications.
00:37The Li i6 is a spacious 5-seater that's a mix of SUV and W213.
00:44With a length of around 5 meters, a width of around 1.9 meters, a height of around 1.7 meters and a generous wheelbase of 3 meters,
00:53it offers plenty of space inside.
00:55The vehicle is built on a modern 800-volt platform.
01:01Equipped with an LFP battery with 5C technology, which can be charged in just 10 minutes for a range of around 500 kilometers.
01:09A real step forward in everyday use.
01:13Two versions of the Li i6 are offered.
01:16One with all-wheel drive and one with rear-wheel drive.
01:19The all-wheel drive model comes with two electric motors, one at the front with 150 kilowatts of power and a more powerful rear one with 250 kilowatts,
01:29which results in a system output of 544 horsepower.
01:34The top speed is 180 kilometers per hour.
01:38The curb weight is around 2.5 tons.
01:40The rear-wheel drive version has a single motor that produces 340 horsepower and weighs around 2.4 tons.
01:51The Li i6 is the third fully electric model from Li Auto after the less successful Lime Mega.
01:56The Lime Mega, a futuristically designed van, was launched in March 2024.
02:04However, it fell far short of expectations with only 3,500 units sold in 2025, January to May.
02:13In April in particular, the model only achieved around 100 sales, a major setback for the company.
02:20The Lime Mega currently only accounts for around 2% of the brand's share.
02:24Li Auto originally targeted 8,000 units per month.
02:29The future still looks promising.
02:32The larger i8 is set to be released in June.
02:37A six-seater model with a length of around 5.1 meters,
02:40which will be available in both a fully electric version and with a range extender.
02:46Both versions are likely to be based on the same drive system as the i6.
02:50Despite the current focus on the Chinese market and the decision not to officially expand overseas,
02:58which is not planned until 2028 at the earliest,
03:01Li Auto was able to deliver strong sales figures in May.
03:05With over 41,000 vehicles delivered, sales increased by around 16.7% compared to the previous year.
03:11The price of the Li i6 has not yet been officially announced.
03:18However, given the technology and size,
03:21a starting price of around 60,000 euros or more can be expected.
