00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog on the topic of IMEI EVM.
00:10As always, you can find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
00:16The RMI IVM is a compact, all-electric two-seater with a day roof, which was specially developed for city traffic.
00:22The vehicle comes from the Japanese engineering company too, which has already gained experience in the electric vehicle sector with the EV Sport.
00:32The design of the EMWM was created by SN Design Platform, a studio headed by Shiro Nakamura, the former head of design at Nissan.
00:43Visually, the small Strom is reminiscent of a mix of European light vehicles and Chinese minicars.
00:49The body is characterized by gentle curves and short overhangs, while the round lighting units look like protruding eyes.
00:58A special feature is the two-part removable tarpaulin roof, which can be stowed in the trunk.
01:05At 2.5 meters long, 1.30 meters wide without mirrors and 1.60 meters high, the AMI-VM is even smaller than the original Smart Vito.
01:16Despite its compact dimensions, the vehicle weighs just 646 kg.
01:23The interior can accommodate two passengers, including some storage space for luggage.
01:29The dashboard is equipped with a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, flanked by two digital displays in the middle.
01:36Some physical controls are located on both the center console and the steering wheel to make it easier to access important functions.
01:47The AMM is powered by an electric motor with 19 horsepower and 70 newton meters of torque.
01:52Due to Japanese regulations for the ultra-compact mobility vehicle class, the model is limited to a top speed of 60 kilometers per hour and is not allowed to drive on motorways.
02:05The energy is supplied by a 10-kilowatt-hour lithium-iron-phosphate battery, which enables a range of 120 kilometers.
02:15A full charge takes five hours from a 200-volt power outlet.
02:21An external power port is standard equipment.
02:25The AMI-VM will be available in Okinawa Prefecture from the summer before sales are expanded to the rest of Japan.
02:31The starting price is around €11,600 with an annual target of 1,000 units sold.
