00:00I am so relieved.
00:01You have no idea.
00:03Did you do this on your other show?
00:06Aggravated at all, talking about the Yankees and experiencing it.
00:11Although I did appreciate the president of the Yankees coming out and telling us what the future looks like there.
00:19And Aaron Judge, that was nice of him since apparently he calls the shots.
00:24The Yankees are the Yankees.
00:25Who was it?
00:26Randy Levine?
00:27That's great.
00:28Yeah.
00:28No, no.
00:28It wasn't Randy.
00:29It was Aaron Judge, actually.
00:31Oh, Aaron Judge.
00:32All the shots.
00:33Oh, I got you.
00:34Yes.
00:34I got you.
00:35I know.
00:35I saw him.
00:36He was a little pissed.
00:37I saw that.
00:38Yeah.
00:39Yeah.
00:39He was a little pissed.
00:40But he said, we're the Yankees and we're going to do this.
00:42We're going to do that.
00:43We're going to go out.
00:43We're going to do.
00:44Great.
00:45Great.
00:45Thanks, Aaron.
00:46Appreciate that.
00:47We'll talk to you maybe next year.
00:49We'll see how that works out.
00:5117 seasons.
00:54Yeah.
00:5417 seasons without a championship for the Yankees.
00:57That is crazy.
00:59And here's the worst part is that the pure definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over
01:07and over and expecting a different outcome.
01:09And yet Aaron Boone can't coach his way out of a paper bag as one of the worst records we
01:17have seen in the postseason of a supposed classic historic Yankees manager where only thing he's good at is beating
01:27the less than teams.
01:29But the minute that he gets teams that punch him in the postseason, he's got no team.
01:34And this is going back a while now.
01:36But yet we've heard that Cashman's coming back and Cashman's bringing Boone back.
01:41So, again, I ask you, the definition of insanity here, Craig, is doing the same thing over and over.
01:48Are we really expecting a different outcome here with the Yankees?
01:52They have to reconfigure the roster.
01:54I don't know that they're going to be able to, but that's what they have to do.
01:57They have to put more bat on the ball.
02:00Their pitching was great.
02:01Their bullpen was fine, but they didn't make enough contact.
02:04And they actually scored.
02:07Was that a championship starting rotation?
02:10It was really good.
02:12It was really good.
02:13Yeah.
02:13Yeah.
02:13Schlittler, Cole, Freed, Rodon.
02:16Yeah, that's pretty good.
02:16Like, that's, in this state, I mean, as the White Sox, they would take Max Freed's right
02:21on to pitch in the game tonight.
02:23Exactly.
02:24Exactly.
02:25But I would tell you this.
02:27I'll tell you this.
02:28Look, everyone wants everybody fired.
02:30I never want anybody fired.
02:31It's just the way that I am.
02:33But Aaron Boone is not going to get an extension, and his final year managing is probably going
02:37to be next year with the Yankees.
02:39So, everyone will get their wish in the end.
02:41It'll be 10 years.
02:42And then, I think that, first of all, nothing's going to change after this year.
02:47But I think after next year, without, I don't know about a World Series, but maybe getting
02:52there, I think they'll, knowing the way that the Yankees operate, 10 years is kind of the
02:59number here.
02:59So, he'll get next year to be able to do it, and then that's it.
03:04Yeah, but what is he doing besides reshuffling the, you know, the chairs on the deck of the
03:10Titanic?
03:10Nothing.
03:11That's all this is doing here.
03:12Yeah, nothing.
03:14So, what do you do with Garcia?
03:16You made the trade for him.
03:17Are you keeping him?
03:19He'll probably come back.
03:21Yeah, he'll be back.
03:22Ben Rice will be back.
03:23Judge will be back.
03:24Lombard.
03:26Who am I missing?
03:27Grisham, no.
03:28Jazz, no.
03:32I'm missing a bunch of guys.
03:33No, Jazz better not be back under any circumstances.
03:36That helps nobody in any way, shape, or form of what the Yankees are here.
03:41Where's Jazz going to be next year?
03:43Where's Jazz going to play next year?
03:44Yeah, hopefully Applebee's, because that's where he belongs.
03:47He can, yeah, he can catch.
03:49But everybody loved Jazz when they traded for Jazz.
03:52Oh, my gosh.
03:53He's going to be amazing.
03:54No, you should have listened to you, because you were spot on with Jazz over there, which
03:59is great.
04:00No, absolutely terrible.
04:02I got along with Jazz very, very well here.
04:06He was really good to me.
04:08I thought he was a really good player.
04:10I still think he's a really good player, but I think, I never thought that that was a great
04:17spot for him in New York.
04:18For him, he probably thinks it's a great spot.
04:20I didn't think so.
04:21I think he's going to go to a different market, and I think he'll be the star that he's been
04:26waiting for.
04:27But it was not going to happen for him in New York.
04:30And then the other thing with him, and unfortunately, I don't know what happened, and I'd have to
04:33ask him, is that he degraded so much against left-handed pitching.
04:36Like, he never had that much trouble against lefties.
04:39Like, I don't know what happened this year.
04:41Because if you look at his numbers two years ago, they were really good.
04:45And also, defensively, you're atrocious.
04:49You're absolutely, if you can't hit lefties and can't field, you don't belong in the lineup
04:56ever, ever.
