00:02Hello it is Monday the 31st of August the last day of winter and this is Victoria's weather
00:06forecast for the week ahead. We still have minor flood warnings up in the north and on Tuesday
00:10we'll have some strong wind warnings as a front moves through. This week is a series of rolling
00:15fronts moving through the state which will see days of rain scattered throughout so let's have
00:19a look. This is Monday a nice clear sunny day under the high pressure system. On Tuesday it will start
00:24relatively sunny and quite warm and then our first front moves through with low totals in the state.
00:30Wednesday the rain clears a little bit for Thursday another front to arrive earlier in Thursday
00:35morning. Friday this is the next rolling front that really brings a lot of stronger weather on
00:41the Saturday so these falls I expect to be late Friday because on Saturday this is the strength
00:46of the falls a lot of that being in the ranges so 25 to 50 miles up in the ranges
00:51again which
00:51could see that flood warning return. Then we have Sunday where it's cleared out mostly again so just
00:57a series of cold fronts moving through. We also have unseasonably warm temperatures here on Tuesday
01:03with much of the state seeing 15 to 20 degrees up in the north we're getting 20 25 degrees as
01:08well as
01:08over in the west and then small pockets of 10 to 15. Okay wind is also strongest with those fronts
01:15moving through on Tuesday as we see the isobars collect a little bit closer together and then as well
01:20on Thursday towards the end of the day we can see those isobars also quite strongly together with a
01:26good westerly wind moving through there. All right we're looking at Ballarat for the forecast today
01:30we can see that Ballarat was one of those areas that doesn't get the very strong temperatures on
01:34Tuesday but most places in the rest of the state will and then we have small rainfall totals with the
01:39largest being six mils on Saturday and it will be cloudy throughout the week. Friday is the lowest
01:44temperature with a chance of fog and here we're looking at our strong winds on Tuesday and then
01:51sorry it's Saturday not Thursday that also has quite strong winds there we go. All right this is the
01:55rainfall accumulation for the week as we can see we're getting a lot of rain actually or not a lot
02:00of rain but in terms of where the rain is placed it's largely to the west of the state and
02:04then again
02:04up in these northeast ranges. Beautiful that is the forecast for Victoria please be safe as these
02:10systems move through and we will see you next week have a good one.
