00:01So here's Joanna Doan first game
00:03against the Giants coming off
00:05that first big league win.
00:06Yeah force this is going to be
00:07his fourth star on the year one
00:08and two the five eight seven
00:10that lowered quite a bit after
00:12his start against the D-backs.
00:14Jock hitting 317 to get three
00:16home runs two of them on this
00:17road trip high and deep right
00:21center field that one is on its
00:23way way back there.
00:25Adios Pevota Jock Peterson with
00:28a majestic home run that would
00:31have gone right over the Capitol
00:32Dome that had been in there one
00:35ball and no strikes to Flores.
00:37Ground ball into left field a base
00:39hit charged hard by Yadiel
00:41Hernandez Hallberg is waving
00:42Crawford here comes the throw
00:44going to be close.
00:46Flores now with the six RBI of the
00:48year nice two out RBI to keep the
00:51line moving here in the first
00:52inning two outs Crawford going on
00:54the swing of the bat was able to
00:55get a good jump from second base
00:57had a nice secondary lead he's such
00:59a good base runner he turns the
01:01base perfect he cuts down the
01:03distance between third and home
01:04Giants two the Nationals coming to
01:06bat as Logan Webb heads out to the
01:08hill.
01:09Here now is Yadiel Hernandez two on
01:11and two out a chance for the
01:13Nationals.
01:13And a ball drilled to center crews around
01:17third the throw from Gonzalez off line
01:21and the Nats are on the board.
01:23Yadiel retreats he's now 10 for 30 on
01:26the year.
01:26That ball was smoked right there up the
01:28middle it got to Gonzalez way quicker
01:30than I thought want to wait off the
01:32bat change up down in the zone.
01:33That's the good job comes up with a
01:36chance to really do some some damage.
01:40There's a ball into deep left
01:41center field Lane Thomas back and at
01:44the warning track.
01:46Estrada tags up and scores Bart tags
01:49up and goes to third and say well hit
01:51sacrifice fly for Peterson and his
01:54second RBI of the game four to one
01:56Giants swinging strike three ninety
02:01two mile an hour sinker.
02:03That's the first Logan Webb strike
02:04out two and two and he struck him
02:08out man did he handcuff him or what
02:10with that change up Logan Webb's
02:11got one of the best change ups in
02:13the big leagues.
02:13Here's Hernandez who has the Nats
02:15only run batted in today.
02:18Yadiel to left.
02:20Ball's got some carry.
02:21Darren Ruff back.
02:23See you later.
02:26Give him a start.
02:27He'll give me a big day.
02:29RBI single to run oppo homer and the
02:33Nats have made it a one run game
02:34intended backdoor slider and he
02:37doesn't try to do anything but just
02:39put a good swing on it to left field.
02:42Webb delivers swing and a miss this
02:46time he does strike it out three up
02:50three down first inning in which the
02:51Nats have not put a man on.
02:53Flores two out RBI back in the first
02:55inning.
02:57Wilmer to center field base hit.
02:59That'll score Jack Peterson Wilmer
03:02Flores second time in this game a
03:04two out RBI hit.
03:06It's five to three Giants.
03:10Swing and a miss great slider down
03:12and away.
03:12There's one of those Arano strikeouts.
03:17A little flair center Escobar and he
03:21gets there got a good jump made a
03:23nice grab looking right back into
03:25the sun as well.
03:27This is the perfect example keep
03:29running with your arms then at the
03:30last second put your glove up.
03:31That's a good one.
03:33See ya.
03:34Wow.
03:35Four straight by Arano since the
03:37Flores face hit.
03:38Jack Peterson swing the bat really
03:40well today.
03:41There's a long drive.
03:42Forget about this one.
03:44That's headed for Baltimore and the
03:46Giants have a six to three lead.
03:48His second home run of the game.
03:50I think he's seeing the ball OK
03:52right now John.
03:53That was a no doubter.
03:54He didn't even watch that one.
03:59Strikes recall.
04:01It's a slider and Logan today has
04:02mainly relied on fastball changeup.
04:04Slider hasn't been a great pitch
04:06for him today but this one right
04:08here one of his better ones.
04:09A ball and two strikes.
04:12Struck him out back with the slider
04:14and again he kept that one down.
04:15That's a thing of beauty.
04:16He's on for the ninth time this
04:18year John that leads the major
04:19leagues in appearances but a guy
04:21that throws like that doesn't
04:22doesn't take as much toll on the
04:24arm Wilmer continues to swing the
04:26bat well he's had two more hits
04:27today both delivering a run and
04:31he's got a base hit against him
04:32again coming into score Brad and
04:34Bell and they'll all move up one
04:36base Dubon stops at third that
04:38was a hard hit single left his
04:39third hit and third RBI of the
04:42day Gonzalez who's not had a hit.
04:45That's a base hit into right
04:46field Dubon into score here comes
04:49Crawford rounding third and he's
04:51heading home to score the throw in
04:53is cut off by Adams and over to
04:55third base goes Wilmer Flores that
04:58had to feel good for young Luis
05:00Gonzalez Tyro has had an infield
05:02hit and a walk the pitch that one
05:05is lined toward the gap in left
05:06center coming over is Thomas from
05:08center he'll make the catch tagging
05:10at third Wilmer Flores here comes
05:11the throw on one hop it's too late
05:14Flores scores and it's ten to three
05:17Giants Slater grounded out to second
05:19as a pinch hitter leading off the
05:21inning against the left hander Sam
05:22Clay line drive base hit to center
05:25field Gonzalez has scored and the
05:29throw in is way off line Fossler
05:33scores Bart stopping at second 12 to
05:36three Giants Zach Littell yeah and
05:39Zach's on for the fifth time this
05:40year he hasn't had an ERA giving up
05:42three hits and four innings pitch
05:44no walks in center field over toward
05:48right center Dubon who stayed in
05:50after coming in as a runner and
05:52this one is over the Giants get the
05:55sweep over the Nationals and they
05:58are going to head to Milwaukee with
06:01the happy flight having gone seven
06:03and three here in the eastern time
06:05zone happy flight is right
