00:03More excited than ever, hungry than ever and I cannot wait to start the Premier League at home
00:09in front of our supporters and have a great performance and win the match. I think those
00:14teams have an incredible quality which is to maintain the standards daily at the really
00:19highest level and this opportunity that we have I have no question that our players have that
00:25desire and that ambition to do that now is something that we have to earn and do daily.
00:30We feel ready, we've prepared the whole pre-season these six weeks with some coming, some players
00:37from the first day, other ones coming later but the desire, the ambition, the hunger to
00:44start the Premier League is already in the building in each training and we're looking forward to it.
00:50I don't think it changes too much the style, then Newcastle will be strong in transition
00:55very fast players at front, physical team, especially at home, the atmosphere in St.
01:01James' part is going to be strong, so we know it's not an easy game to start the season,
01:06so we have to be ready for that start, for that level of players and I think we are preparing
01:15for this year.
01:16Very excited, as you said, very excited to start this new chapter, this new journey. The target
01:24is to carry on in the same way of the last, you know, last 10-15 years, so very also
01:33happy
01:33to finally to play our first game at home, so yeah, excited. You can see clearly, you know,
01:40the identity, very aggressive team, they were already very aggressive with Adoni and now they
01:46are still aggressive, so it's quite clear what they do on the ball and off the ball.
01:53As you'd expect, really looking forward to another season, you know, they've come thick and fast,
01:59so it's about making the most of everything that's in front of us really and really encouraged with what we've
02:07done pre-season,
02:09on the training ground, mostly in the games, I think it's been really good, so yeah, very much looking forward
02:15to the first game
02:16and a tough one on Saturday.
02:18I think we can't forget what happened last season, it's a lesson, a big lesson for us, for every one
02:25of us,
02:26but anyway, we have to go on another page and to start another season, an important season, we are building,
02:35I think, a new project.
02:37We've had decent teams in the past, teams which have been in and around Europe, teams that have been getting
02:43to cup finals,
02:44so we've had that in the past, so we want to, well I certainly want to get back to that,
02:50and I've got an idea of what it looks like,
02:55I've got a knowledge from my experience in the Premier League, the games I've had, about what it looks like
02:59and what's required to get there,
03:01so let's hope we can do it again.
