00:09And golly, I mean, it's so interesting to look at this year. I know we've done this at various intervals,
00:15but year to date now, I just feel like we need to do another checkup.
00:1918 starts, one miscut, two wins, five runner-ups, 12 top five. Smiley, what that means is 67%, two-thirds
00:30of his starts this year, are top fives or better.
00:34And then if you go back and look at just some stat categories that Scotty leads in this year currently,
00:41scoring average, birdie average, final round scoring average, strokes gain total, strokes gain tee to green,
00:48green regulation percentage, scrambling, and total money. And then if you delve into putting, this one's super interesting to me,
00:56given the journey we've been on with him and his changes in putting and how much better he is at
01:01it now.
01:03Just came off statistically that last round Sunday in Memphis, one of his best rounds ever to lap the field.
01:09He is third in strokes game putting for the season, which sounds insane to kind of read out loud.
01:15First in putting from more than 25 feet, fourth in putting from 10 to 15 feet. So just leaps and
01:20bounds of improvement there from, you know, we're asking she to go to a broomstick, all these sorts of things
01:26a couple years ago.
01:26Completely different player. I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but my prediction is he's going
01:32to win all three playoff events. You like that one? You going to ride with me on that one?

01:44bold of you, you know, coming off an eight shot win.

01:51prediction before last year was he's going to win 10 times. I almost got laughed off the show and I
01:55need, I need to try to get that one back.
01:57All right. Well, let me ask you this. Let's say he does win the next two weeks, four wins on
02:01the season. None of them a major, not didn't win the players. I just read you all the stat categories.

02:34at that record that's got. He's had this year, the putting, like the statistics that you've had,
02:38that you just mentioned being third and putting for what has been kind of an off iron year for him.
02:46Dude, like what happens if he has the putting working with a, you know, lethal iron game that he typically
02:52leads in every single year? I mean, we're like, when will he not be number one in the world? Like
02:57when you look at the OWGR right now, second in the world ranking, he's, they got to double their amount
03:05of like world ranking points to be able to get to Scotty.
03:08You know, it still isn't enough. His lead is going to be something that I think ultimately surpasses tiger's lead
03:14is the longest number one, um, in the world. I, I, I truly believe that it's, it's not slowing down
03:20anytime soon. Injuries is the only thing. Like once he solved the putting, he's too good of a pitcher of
03:25the golf ball is golf swing is in his ability to, to maintain that it's been proven that it's something
03:32that shows up every week.
03:34Like eight shot win is, um, you know, when you're kind of looking for, when you're, when you're trying to
03:41put together like a player of the year argument, I think showing up and dominating and, and having the best
03:48putting week of his career, I think to me closes on, it almost closes the door, right?
03:55If, if, if Fitzy or got her up or cam young, uh, go out and win, uh, maybe BMW and
04:04tour championship or whatever it is, like, then you can start maybe kind of playing that argument. But if not,
04:09if none of those guys win over the next two weeks, Scott, he's going to win this thing. Like, right.
