George brings his new girlfriend Janet to Jerry's apartment, where the resemblance everyone has been talking about becomes impossible for Kramer to ignore. Jerry thinks Elaine's claim that Janet looks exactly like him is “kooky talk,” while Kramer is more concerned with pointing out that he's always thought Jerry looks like Lena Horne.

The moment Janet walks through the door, Kramer sees it. He declares that she and Jerry look like twins and calls the resemblance eerie. George refuses to see it—even when Janet admits they might look a little alike.

That's when Kramer offers some reassurance only he could come up with: looking alike doesn't necessarily mean George is secretly in love with Jerry.

Seinfeld is streaming now on Netflix.
