00:00Jose Vargas, he's 52. He's from Mexico. He's driving down the road in a vehicle with an
00:08expired tag. So one of my wonderful deputies says, man, you can't drive down the road with
00:15an expired tag. He doesn't know, oh, Jose is illegal, but he stops the vehicle. When he
00:21turns the lights on, Juan, who's the passenger, throws a little white object out of the car,
00:27and they drive down the road for a long ways before they stop. And during the traffic stop,
00:35we explained to Jose, hey, Jose, your tag's expired. And by the way, Jose, let's see some
00:42identification. He's in the country illegally. Now, if you're going to be in the country illegally
00:52violating the law, the federal law, why would you do something like drive a vehicle with a tag that
01:02was expired that says, stop me, stop me. And when you stop me, you'll find out that I'm in the
01:11country
01:11illegally. So we put a hold on him and he went to jail and ended up in ICE custody. So
01:21then there's
01:22Juan. Juan's got an attitude. We asked him what he threw out the window. And he said, I didn't throw
01:29anything out the window. And my deputy said, Juan, we saw you throw it out. He said, well, if you
01:35can
01:35go back there and find it, I'll own it. Well, we didn't find it, but we did find the methamphetamine
01:42on the floorboard between his legs. So he went to jail. He had a bad attitude. He said ugly things
01:51to
01:51us. It wasn't original. It wasn't the first time, but it was ugly. He said, that ain't my drugs.
02:00This ain't my car. I'm going to have your badge. Juan, Juan, Juan, Juan, Juan. That's not a new line.
02:10It doesn't work. And he still went to the county jail, but he wasn't illegal. Have a good day.
