00:00This physician roasted me for how I sit while gaming, and I probably deserved it to be fair.
00:04This is Dr. Lindsay Miliore, an expert in eSports medicine. Her job is to educate and inform people
00:10on how to sit properly, prevent strains and aches, and prevent long-term health issues from regular
00:15gaming. The doc also thinks my sitting position totally sucks. I hunch. Obviously, I know this is
00:21bad. Don't be me. Here's what the doc recommends you do instead for a healthier posture. Number one,
00:26feet should be flat on the floor. Number two, knees in line with hips. Three, two to three fingers of
00:31space from the back of your knees to the seat. Four, lower back flat against the backrest. Five,
00:36arms at desk level. Six, wrists in a neutral position. Seven, top edge of a monitor at eye level. Eight,
00:43monitor at arms length away. And nine, move. That last one is important. Sitting in the perfect
00:49posture is one thing, but do that for eight hours straight, and it's still going to put strain on
00:53your body. You've got to change things up. Recline, stand if you can, shake it all out. With a bit
00:58of
00:58luck, you won't get savaged by a physician for sitting weird in future like I did.
