00:00I think Garo was one of my earliest ones.
00:02Garo I ended up doing slightly higher.
00:05I do have a couple of fairly good tips, key tips.
00:09I will obviously go off on a tangent when I try and work out what colours I've got here.
00:13The big problem with Space Marines, because of course there's a lot of cloning that goes on in the Space
00:18Marine world, I'm sure you know,
00:20is getting them to actually sound anything different to each other.
00:24And one thing I found out very early on when I started off my relationship with Games Workshop was with
00:31audiobooks.
00:32And in audiobooks you do not take into account the fact that it's a game at all.

00:40These things happen. This has all happened. How dare you.
00:44And this is the thing with the voices for Space Marines.
00:47They're all pretty tough and flinty.

00:53I think Garo was one of my earliest ones.
00:55Garo I ended up doing slightly higher.
00:58Because as you go through the book, you'll find somebody who goes, you know,
01:02that is all very well, but you are only a first generation.
01:06I am a third generation. I am bigger than you.
01:08I am enormous and will be a dreadnought one day.
01:11So you start getting more and more aggressively huge.
01:15Obviously, if you've got more than ten Space Marines in a book, you're going to be...
01:19Only dogs can hear you by the end of the...
01:22That would be too high, wouldn't it? That would be...
01:24Only ground squirrels can hear you.
01:26Only dog.
