00:08Strike force Puma was on patrol in Villawood last night, targeting repeat offenders of
00:14dangerous driving.
00:15That's when they noticed this ute hooning and making skid marks in a shared car park.
00:21Drove into Bunnings, unfortunately there was a fella doing a burnout.
00:24After searching the ute and the 17-year-old, officers allege they found two Glock-style
00:29firearms, one in his pants.
00:32Police came, they searched his car, they found the gun.
00:35Police also allegedly located a couple of knives, cannabis and a second pair of stolen
00:41licence plates.
00:42Police allege the teenager was already disqualified from driving for a year and that the ute was
00:47wearing another vehicle's plates.
00:49The teenager was taken to Cabramatta police station and was charged.
00:53The juvenile is facing 10 offences in the Children's Court.
00:57These include weapons charges, like possessing a gun and carrying a knife in public.
01:02He's also been accused of having a face covering with the intent of committing an indictable
01:07offence.
