00:00It kind of felt like my first hand in, like, creative direction in a way because I was very particular
00:06about if I would reblog a photo.
00:08I wasn't just reblogging random shit.
00:10If I would reblog a photo, the next thing I would reblog, there would need to be, like, color story
00:15links.
00:15Like, if something had a little bit of pink or a little bit of chrome, it would all kind of
00:19lead into the next thing.
00:20Like, I was very particular about how my, like, blog looks, which sounds so stupid.
00:24But I think that was kind of my first introduction just to more, like, visual inspiration.
00:31I feel like that was kind of before Pinterest was really big or I think Pinterest at the time was
00:35only, like, recipes and, like, random things, you know?
00:38And it felt like mood boarding.
00:40People would dress up and make imagery just for Tumblr.
00:42And I think people would get clowned for that at the time.
00:44But looking back, I'm like, how cool that there was this platform where people would want to, like, make art
00:49and, like, make visual art or, like, stylize whatever they're doing.
00:53Or, like, a T-shirt that they just bought and, like, take a webcam photo with, like, their pink hair
00:57and, like, stylize it for the purpose of creating, like, a vision board almost.
01:04I think that's really cool.
01:05And I think that was the first time that I kind of did that.
