00:21strikes came just hours after President Trump tried to assure Americans that the conflict with Iran
00:26would not be another forever war. Here he is on NBC's Meet the Press. We're very close to a deal
00:32or I'm going to blow the hell out of them, to be honest with you. And it's going to be
00:39very easy
00:39for me to do. That's actually the easier path. So when you say I promised, I didn't promise anything,
00:46I don't like these endless wars. This is not an endless war. We've been doing this for three months.
00:52The president went on to say he thinks that the new Supreme Leader, Mostaba Kemeni, is, quote,
00:57more rational, at least compared to his father, Ayatollah Ali Kemeni, who was killed early on in
01:03Operation Epic Fury. Now, that Meet the Press interview with Kristen Welker, where Trump discusses
01:08Iran, it's the same one that the president later stormed out of. Trump lashed out at Welker following
01:14a tense exchange where she insisted that he's failed to provide evidence to support his accusations
01:19that the 2020 election was rigged against him. Left-wing late-night host Bill Maher has some
01:25tough talk for his fellow Democrats. The HBO star is blasting musicians who dropped out of President
01:30Trump's America 250 concert series, claiming the move makes it look like Democrats, quote,
01:35don't really love America. Maher made the comments on the most recent episode of his real-time talk show
01:40this weekend after several performers, including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, the Commodores,
01:45Morris Day, and Young MC pulled out of the upcoming Great American State Fair festivities in Washington,
01:50D.C., claiming they were misled about the event's political nature. Now, Maher went on to say, quote,
01:56now it's just a big MAGA rally, this whole thing. Now it's Trump and Lee Greenwood. Wouldn't it have
02:01been better to play this gig? Can't we all just celebrate America itself and leave Trump out of it?
02:08Turning Point USA's Women's Leadership Summit took a dark turn over the weekend when protesters
02:13showed up to mock Charlie Kirk and his widow Erica. One man wore a papier-mâchÊ head made to resemble
02:20Kirk and then proceeded to reenact the assassination of the conservative activist, pretending to be shot
02:26and collapsing to the ground while other protesters shouted that Kirk, quote, deserved to die. Now,
02:32Erica Kirk, who's taken over as the head of Turning Point USA, was in attendance at the event
02:36where demonstrators accused her of protecting pedophiles and Nazis. She also faced booing and a
02:42heckler in the audience during her speech. Kirk appeared to take it in stride, though, telling the
02:46woman from the stage, quote, it's important to remember that happiness comes and goes, and I pray
02:51that you find it. And she added, you pray for your enemies, you pray for those that persecute you.
02:56Now, the summit took place throughout the weekend, despite online threats against Kirk's life in the
