00:04Blockbuster blizzard. Look at this footage across New Jersey where we had wind gusts past 50 miles
00:10per hour and snowfall rates of two to three inches per hour. How about New York City getting into
00:17the snow? Well over a foot of snow and the snow is ending but the problems will continue. It's
00:25going to take some time to recover from this amount of snow. Take a look at this. This is what
00:30we're
00:31concerned about as we head toward tonight across New York City and throughout the northeast. So any
00:37melting snow, any slush or wetness is going to freeze tonight as temperatures fall below freezing
00:45and it's not just tonight. Take a look for example New York City moving through the next few days.
00:50While it gets above freezing during the day, temperatures Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning,
00:57Thursday morning, Friday morning are all going to be below freezing. So again this will continue to be
01:04a problem with the melting during the day and the freezing at night. How about the aviation industry?
01:10Well this is a problem as well. We've had so many flights that have been canceled. Well even on Tuesday
01:19we're looking at cancellations of almost 2,500 flights. When will we go back to normal?
01:27Not until Wednesday. The blockbuster blizzard is ending but the problems continue.
