00:00kenneth walker though 27 carries 135 yards he was the mvp jacob and it felt like probably midway
00:07through the second quarter and i was checking on fandle just to see what the odds were
00:11he was about even money at that point third quarter he was minus money and he wins the mvp i
00:17think it's well deserved i will tell you this though jacob there's no reason to ever put a
00:20kicker's odds out there if myers doesn't win the mvp in that game there's no kicker that's ever
00:25going to win it oh absolutely craig i was having a debate at the party at the super bowl party i was
00:31at while working you know about whether or not the kicker would actually win mvp and myers had a
00:36decent case for it i believe he made five field goals throughout the game and really i think he
00:40scored all of the first 15 points for the seahawks so he had a great performance but you know the
00:45award tends to go to an offensive player and kenneth walker was dominant throughout the game he really
00:51looked good on those outside zone runs he broke away from contact he he really had some nice stop
00:57and start motions to set up the linebackers too or he was cutting into into space and ripping off
01:02chunk plays so i give him a lot of credit he was their best offensive player in that game and i think
01:06you know a lot of people going in myself included thought hey if they're gonna win it's gonna have
01:10to come on the shoulders of jackson smith and jigma but kenneth walker was really their offensive
01:15catalyst so he certainly deserved the award i would like to see you know defensive players get a little
01:20more consideration for that especially in this type of game where the seahawks had the six sacks
01:25and three turnovers but i think it takes something really special for a player on that side of the
01:29ball to have it and with kenneth walker racking up those stats you mentioned it was always going to
01:34be him by the end of the game
01:35you
