00:00All right, Bill, take us into the week.
00:02What's a week like this for a player?
00:04You know, you build yourself up.
00:06Here you are in the most iconic game.
00:08You've been there four times.
00:09Tell me what that week's like in that buildup before you even step on the field.
00:14Well, I think, you know, what you have is, you know, four times I had two weeks to prepare.
00:23And, you know, when you have two weeks going into the biggest game of your life, you're, I mean, you're pretty much overprepared.
00:37You know everything that that team is going to do.
00:41And it comes down to this.
00:45Who makes the plays?
00:47It's that simple.
00:49Do you make the interception when you got it?
00:53Do you get the sack when you got the quarterback, you know, squared away?
01:00And, you know, we make, you know, everybody makes such a big deal about it.
01:08But at the end of the day, you're playing football.
01:11And do you make the plays?
01:15Do your teammates make the plays?
01:17What you want to do is just make sure when you get the, when you, when your name is called, you, you make the plays.
01:28And I was able to do that multiple times in the big game.
01:32Bill, when you step on a football field like that, you're getting ready to step up.
01:36Talk about the energy that you have when you're, when you're getting ready to step on a Super Bowl field.
01:43Well, I remember my first, you know, with the 49ers, my first Super Bowl.
01:49And here I am, I'm on the sideline, getting ready to play.
01:56And Billy Joel is right in front of me, you know, doing the national anthem.
02:02And there's Christy Brinkley, you know, his wife, who's right, kind of right next to him.
02:10And I'm like, this is crazy, you know, I mean, Billy Joel is one of my favorites growing up.
02:19And there's one of my idols, you know, so, you know, you have a little bit of that.
02:25And like I said, that was my first, you know, and it got bigger and bigger as the games went on.
