00:00Coach, how has the Super Bowl changed since you were in it against the Raiders
00:04to where it is right now?
00:06I mean, how has it changed?
00:10I mean, just the magnitude of the game, and you know this over the years.
00:14I mean, this is a game now that even if you don't like football,
00:18you watch the Super Bowl, right?
00:20Parties and everything else that happens around Super Bowls anymore,
00:23it's become the most prestigious game probably to watch in sports
00:28when you think about how it just carries all over the world.
00:32It's the Super Bowl, and it's got a great name, Super Bowl, right?
00:36So that helps as well.
00:38And you're talking about I played in Super Bowl XV, and now it's Super Bowl XVI.
00:45Just the breath of it all, you know, of what takes place.
00:49And I think, you know, if you're a player, today is the longest day in your life,
00:56Saturday before the game.
00:57Because, you know, there's really nothing to do except wait for the game.
01:00And then it's a kickoff like in the West Coast at 3 o'clock.
01:03So you're waiting around all day.
01:05You're tired of waiting.
01:06You don't want to watch television anymore.
01:08You don't want to watch what people are talking about.
01:10All these talking heads are talking on television and the radio like your show
01:14and everybody else's show, and everybody's giving their opinions about what's going on.
01:19The players are tired.
01:20They just want to go get in the locker room, get dressed,
01:23and walk out into the stadium and go, okay, let's play this game.
01:28Absolutely.
01:29By the way, for those watching right now, Coach is 15 years old when he was in Super Bowl XV.
01:36I mean.
01:39Super Bowl XV.
01:40Think about that.
01:41Super Bowl XV.
01:43Man.
01:44Wow.
01:44In New Orleans.
01:45How about that?
01:45In New Orleans, right?
01:46In New Orleans, right?
01:47Yeah.
01:48In New Orleans against the Raiders.
01:49Yeah.
01:50Yeah.
01:51New Orleans.
01:51Sure was.
01:52Absolutely.
01:53Absolutely.
01:54Coach, I appreciate you very much.
01:56Thank you so much.
01:57It should be a great one.
01:58You got Seattle in this game, though, right?
02:01I like Seattle.
02:02And I'm not saying New England can't win.
02:04All the New England fans will be mad at me.
02:06I'm just saying I think Seattle's the better team.
02:09I'm kind of pulling for Sam Darnold.
02:11I like his story.
02:12I like his story.
