00:20ever April Fool's pranks so a few years ago here at naturally curly we thought
00:28it would be funny to change the site to naturallystraight.com just for April
00:34Fool's Day so my best ever April Fool's prank was in college my roommate and I
00:39were very close to our neighbors so we decided to take you know our friendship
00:44and relationship a step further and pull an April Fool's prank on them I think
00:49what takes the cake for my all-time best April Fool's prank was in the seventh
00:54grade when I took the time to Photoshop IRS letterhead together so I wrote up
01:04this letter that looked like the IRS was writing my parents because they wanted to
01:09do an audit on them so we got saran wrap the saran wrap the one door they had
01:15before we saran wrapped it we blew up a ton of balloons and so you place the
01:21balloons like outside of their door and then saran wrapped the balloons shut we
01:26changed the website our newsletter the Facebook page anywhere where you would
01:32have seen naturally curly it was naturally straight just for the day and so when
01:36they opened their door they couldn't get out to go to class people and just
01:41think about them telling their teacher like why they're late like oh I'm sorry my
01:46door was saran wrapped shut with a bunch of balloons I don't know I feel like on
01:50April Fool's Day or leading up to it everybody knows that it's April 1st things
01:55are gonna happen people are gonna pretend that they're pregnant when they're
01:58really not people are gonna make silly announcements I just thought that you
02:02know with all of that going on on the first of the month that no one was ever
02:09going to fall for naturallystraight.com but you know we surprised
02:14ourselves didn't we and I got a stamp out of the stamp drawer I printed an
02:20envelope up it wasn't handwritten and you know my Photoshop skills were pretty
02:24good even then so it looks pretty good and then I slipped it into our mailbox so
02:29we did that really late at night we woke up super early in the morning to watch it
02:33play out in their reaction and they were pissed they're really really upset and
02:37I'm pretty sure they saw us peeking through the blinds we had this prank war
02:40going on with them for a while and it was really fun and I think the best pranks
02:44are the ones that keep going and start this type of rivalry so that probably
02:49was my best ever prank I like to think that my parents were fooled I remember my
02:54mom calling my dad I mean like we got a letter from the IRS it says that they're
03:01gonna audit us and so they're freaking out and I'm just sitting in the back like
03:04like just enjoying my seventh grade prank my dad comes home and they're just
03:12like and I'm like ha it was me April Fools and once they knew that like they
03:18weren't in financial dire straits they were actually pretty proud that I was
03:24smart enough to think of that prank in the seventh grade and put it all together
03:27in a way that would convince two 40 year old people that they were actually
03:31being audited by the IRS but yeah that's my favorite April Fool's prank and I
03:36almost thought at the time that it was so obvious so painfully obvious that you
03:43would never change naturally curly calm to naturally straight calm and the fact
03:49that it was on April 1st that like I didn't even think it was worth doing almost
03:55but then on April Fool's Day we got all this feedback from people who were like
