00:00Miami and Ole Miss squaring off Thursday at 7.30 Eastern.
00:05Not only did Miami make the playoff,
00:07not only did they win the first two games of the playoff,
00:10they are favored in this round in Glendale, Arizona.
00:14As the Hurricanes take on the Rebels, the total is 51.5.
00:17I think this is probably going to be a more exciting game
00:20and a brand of offense that we haven't seen two teams play,
00:24or especially on the Miami side in a while.
00:25But the question is, Bill, is Miami's defense the best college football team
00:31going right now in the playoff?
00:33Because if it is, Mississippi would be in trouble in this one.
00:36What do you see coming out Thursday?
00:38Hard game to gauge because of two converging factors.
00:42One, Reuben Bain with 16 pressures in two playoff games.
00:46Think about that.
00:46That's just ridiculous what he's been able to do for that Miami defense
00:51that has, quite frankly, been the story of the first two rounds.
00:54And then Trinidad Chambliss, four games in the last five,
00:58300 or more passing yards.
00:59He heated up against Georgia.
01:00We talked about that.
01:02Kiwan Lacy's back next year.
01:04And I think he's the key to this game.
01:06Can he get enough success on the ground against a Miami defense
01:10that allowed 2.9 yards per carry?
01:12Doesn't give up much.
01:13Doesn't give up many points.
01:14Didn't give up more than 26 points in a game this year.
01:17And if those two things happen, when Chambliss heats up,
01:21it's the kind of quarterback that can take over an entire playoff game.
01:25Kind of like Ole Miss here is what I'm saying.
01:26I don't feel great about it because Miami's defense has been so good
01:30and these teams haven't really played in a long time.
01:33But I think it could be a field goal game either way,
01:35and I'm leaning a little bit toward Ole Miss and the quarterback.
