00:00We will still have a lot of wet weather to contend with as we go through the upcoming days across
00:04the southeastern U.S.,
00:05especially the I-10 corridor, anywhere from about New Orleans to Jacksonville.
00:10We have the rainfall, and we also have, at times, some severe thunderstorms that will lead to not just the
00:16potential of flash flooding,
00:17but more so the risk of damaging winds.
00:19We're watching that as we go through the upcoming hours here from southeastern Alabama right into northern Florida,
00:25including spots like Daytona Beach.
00:27So those thunderstorms, they'll be out there today.
00:30Tomorrow, you can see a similar pattern here.
00:32Jackson, Montgomery into Jacksonville.
00:34Showers and thunderstorms remaining.
00:36If you're north of that, we actually turn a little less humid and, therefore, keep some of our summertime heat.
00:43Nashville, 88 for the high, 85 in Roanoke.
00:46Should be a beautiful day in Charlotte at 87 degrees.
00:49Going through time, you can see this belt of moisture just kind of hanging out.
00:53It is trying to press to the south, and it will do so as we step into Thursday.
00:57So you can see it's pushed its way into northern Florida.
01:00It's still hanging out along the I-10 corridor where that dry air has taken hold.
01:04Not a whole lot happening there.
01:06All the action south of that towards I-10 or even in towards parts of the I-4 corridor across
01:11Florida.
01:12As that continues to move through time, we will see the next storm system approach across the central U.S.,
01:18getting into Friday afternoon and Friday evening.
01:20But the southeastern U.S. can still expect at least some moisture as we go through Friday with a little
01:25bit of rain chances.
01:26So Friday, still thunderstorms in Jacksonville.
01:29But many of us staying quiet towards North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia Beach.
