00:12heat is extreme enough that record high temperatures can be broken. Now, we talk about a heat dome with
00:19our area of high pressure. Look at on the water vapor loop. Where's that high pressure? Follow
00:27back toward Mississippi and then moving westward into the southwest states. That clockwise rotation,
00:32that's our heat dome, the area of high pressure loft. Watch what it does over the next couple
00:38of days. It's going to migrate to the west, northwest, and by the time we get in Friday
00:43and over the upcoming weekend, it strengthens and it centers itself across the four corners area.
00:49Underneath that high, we talk about long-lasting heat and extreme heat. Take a look at high
00:54temperatures this weekend. In fact, in the valleys of California, into the intermountain west,
