00:00Severe weather will be ramping up as we go through this weekend. We think it's going to peak Sunday and
00:06Monday. Warm, moist air coming in out of the Gulf and energy coming into what? A very warm, humid atmosphere
00:15as we head into Sunday and Monday. Look at the high temperatures on Sunday. All that heat heading northward with
00:23temperatures in the 80s and heightened humidity.
00:26Accu weather. Real field temperatures are going to be in the 90s and not much change as we head in
00:30the Monday as that heat continues to move north and northeast.
00:34Now, severe weather really begins to ramp up as we get in the Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. A large
00:41area of at least some risk of severe weather.
00:45That means spotty severe storms, but we already have a moderate area out across parts of the Midwest and that
00:51moderate. Look what happens as we head in the Monday.
00:54It grows going from the southern plains all the way into the Midwest and that's some risk from Texas all
01:01the way up in the Michigan.
01:02Now, both days, there's going to be the threat for tornadoes, at least several tornadoes, we think, both days.
01:09But there is the potential that we could be looking at over a dozen tornadoes or more, especially as we
01:16head in the Monday afternoon and Monday night.
