00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the new Nissan Frontier Pro 4X,
00:07which was developed in collaboration with Rush Performance.
00:11The two have teamed up for the first time to turn the already off-road capable Frontier Pro 4X
00:16into an even more uncompromising off-road version.
00:20The result is a pickup with more ground clearance,
00:23robust technology and a much more angular appearance.
00:26The Marshall look catches the eye at first glance.
00:3117-inch rims in titanium look,
00:34wrapped in Hancock Diner Pro AT2 Extreme tires with real off-road tread.
00:39There are also black wheel nuts and the typical Rush Air on the hubcaps.
00:44Other highlights include a skid plate, grille inserts and logos.
00:48All in titanium look.
00:50Combined with eye-catching red tow hooks and striking Rush emblems on the fenders,
00:55The interior, on the other hand, remains rather reserved.
00:58The only visible change are special headrests with embroidered air low.
01:03The familiar 12.3-inch infotainment system and the 7-inch display in the cockpit remain unchanged
01:09and are taken directly from the production model.
01:13The real upgrade, however, can be found in the chassis.
01:16The new Rush Performance Shin 2.0 off-road suspension raises the frontier by around 50 meters
01:22and features new upper wishbones, shock absorbers with external reservoirs and aluminum shock housings.
01:30This not only provides more visual presence,
01:33but also improves approach and ramp angles as well as off-road control.
01:37Under the hood, however, the familiar 3.8-liter V6 remains,
01:43which continues to deliver 314 horsepower and 381 newton-meters of torque to the wheels.
01:50This puts the Pro 4X Air well below the Ford Ranger Raptor,
01:53which delivers 411 HP and 582 newton-meters,
01:58and the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2,
02:00as well as the Jeep Gladiator Moha and Rubicorn also offer more here.
02:04However, the Rush Nissan scores points in terms of price.
02:09Starting at around âŹ44,300,
02:12it's around âŹ500 more than the standard Pro 4X,
02:15but also almost âŹ7,000 less than the Ranger Raptor.
02:21So if you're looking for a serious off-roader but can do without maximum engine power,
02:26this is a solid alternative.
