00:00Welcome to the video from CarMagazine Tuningbog.
00:03Today we're talking about the compact, all-electric Nami 06 crossover from Dongfang.
00:09The Chinese automaker has officially unveiled its second model under the new Nami Electric brand,
00:15which is set to follow the Nami 01 on the market.
00:20While the Nami 1 compact hatchback has been available since January 2024 and starts at around 9,000 euros,
00:27the new Nami 6 is scheduled to appear in the second quarter of 2025, probably during the Shanghai Auto Show.
00:36The price will be around 13,000 euros.
00:40The Nami 6 is based on the Dongfang Quantum Architecture No. 3 platform
00:45and is available in both left and right-hand drive versions, pointing to international marketing.
00:50With a length of 4.3 meters, a width of 1.9 meters, a height of 1.6 meters, and a wheelbase of 2.7 meters,
01:02the car has a solid, compact SUV shape.
01:06Visually, the crossover features a futuristic design with angular lines, T-shaped LED light bars at the front,
01:13crystal-like triangular taillights, and two-tone geometric exterior mirrors.
01:19A continuous light strip at the rear and a distinctive crossover bumper underscore the modern appearance.
01:26Also striking are the large plastic fenders, short overhangs, and unusually shaped mirror mounts.
01:32Inside, the Nami 06 features a large floating central display, a sleek digital cockpit, a two-spoke, column-mounted gearshift lever.
01:45Other features include a panoramic glass roof, a 50-watt wireless smartphone charging station,
01:51ambient lighting with 128 colors, and three hidden cup holders in the front center armrest.
01:57The model is powered by an electric motor with an output of 135 kilowatts, equivalent to 184 horsepower.
02:07The top speed is 150 kilometers per hour.
02:11Ground clearance is supported by an approach angle of 23 degrees at the front and 30 degrees at the rear,
02:18which also gives the crossover some off-road capability.
02:22The vehicle weighs around 2 tons.
02:24For the battery, Dongfeng relies on the Mi battery with 3C ultra-fast charging technology,
02:31which can be recharged for 100 kilometers in just 5 minutes.
02:36However, exact specifications for the battery capacity have not yet been released.
02:42Another highlight is the collaboration between Dongfeng and drone manufacturer DJI,
02:47which was already presented at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
02:50The resulting advanced driver assistance systems are to be integrated for the first time in vehicles of the NAMI series,
02:59including the NAMI Note 6.
