00:00Welcome to the new video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today, we're talking about the Hyundai Kona Limited for the 2025 model year.
00:08The compact SUV from Korea was already comprehensively revised in 2024
00:13and continues to benefit from the new electric vehicle platform
00:16on which the combustion engine variants are also based.
00:21The Limited version presented here is only available with a petrol engine
00:24and represents the best equipped version of the series.
00:27The Hyundai Kona Limited already shows its proximity to the electric vehicle visually.
00:34Particularly striking is the continuous LED daytime running lights at the front,
00:39which are exclusively reserved for this version.
00:43The contoured body in the color Mirage Green is complemented by eye-catching 19-inch geometrically
00:48designed wheels, while the solid black plastic ring zoom cladding creates a robust look.
00:53Other features include LED headlights, LED taillights, heated exterior mirrors,
01:00and an LED light strip at the rear.
01:03An integrated brake light in the upper spoiler and roof rails complete the design.
01:11Under the hood is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine
01:15that delivers 193 horsepower and 264 newton meters of torque.
01:23This power is transmitted via an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters.
01:29The control center is located in the form of a shifty wire system on the steering column.
01:33The model tested here is equipped with all-wheel drive, with remote start being standard on all variants.
01:43Inside, the Kona welcomes its occupants with an airy, open-space concept.
01:49The limited version features a two-tone interior with high-quality hard imitation leather upholstery.
01:55The front seats are both heated and ventilated.
01:58The driver's seat can be electrically adjusted in eight directions.
02:02The heated leather steering wheel also impresses with its good feel.
02:06The storage compartment above the glove compartment is also practical.
02:10The Kona Limited is technically state-of-the-art.
02:14Two displays, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen,
02:18offer brilliant images including navigation and a high-resolution reversing camera.
02:22The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
02:29Voice control, surround view monitor and a high-quality 8-speaker sound system from Bose are also on board.
02:37There is also a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB-C ports, Hyundai's digital vehicle key function and Overt updates.
02:43The center console is open and offers, among other things, a wireless charging pad, rotary controls for driving modes, seat climate control and the control for the remote smart parking assist.
02:57In the rear, there are so-called stadium seats, which sacrifice a bit of headroom but are well padded.
03:02The backrests can be folded down in a 60 by 40 ratio.
03:08An armrest with cup holders is also available.
03:11Although there is more hard plastic in the back and the shape means you lose window space, a sunroof provides natural light.
03:20The trunk was enlarged with the 2024 facelift and offers a practical concept with a two-stage loading floor and cover.
03:26Only the Limited has a sensor-controlled GS hands-free tailgate.
03:34A spare wheel is also on board.
03:37Standard features also include dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric sunroof and ambient lighting in the interior.
03:46Thanks to its compact dimensions of around 4.3 meters in length, around 1.8 meters in width, around 1.6 meters in height and a wheelbase of around 2.6 meters,
03:56the Kona is particularly easy to drive in city traffic.
04:02Acceleration is powerful with this drive system, the steering is direct and the handling is pleasantly comfortable.
04:08In terms of safety, the Kona features Hyundai Smart Sense.
04:13Standard features include an exit warning system and a rear seat occupant reminder system.
04:18The Limited version also offers advanced functions such as the Blind Spot Camera Assistant, the Surround View Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control and the Motorway Driving Assistant.
04:30The Smart Parking Assist system with remote control via the key is also included.
04:38The only surcharge for this model concerns the carpet floor mats, which cost around 200 euros.
04:45The total price of the Hyundai Kona Limited is therefore around 30,000 euros.
04:49An attractive offer considering the extensive features.
