00:00Welcome to the video from the CarMagazine Tuning Blog.
00:07Today it's all about the new Porsche 911 for the 2025 model year,
00:12which continues its legendary history and at the same time marks the step into a new era.
00:18Porsche is staying true to its lineage but is breathing a breath of fresh air into the series
00:22with the revised Carrera, the sportier Carrera S and the first ever electrified Carrera GTS.
00:30The heart of the car remains untouched. The six-cylinder boxer engine,
00:34which in all variants continues to come from the mountain in Zuffenhausen near Stuttgart,
00:39just as befits a true 911. The entry point into the world of the 911 is the Carrera with a three-cylinder,
00:46twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine. It produces 388 horsepower and puts around 450
00:55on the road. This makes it the most accessible version in the portfolio, but by no means
01:01compromises in terms of dynamism. The Carrera is balanced from the start. Fast and engaging.
01:07A true Porsche, after all. One step above is the Carrera S. It also uses the 3.6-liter twin-turbo
01:14boxer engine, but in a more powerful configuration with a 47-liter turbocharged engine producing 73
01:19horsepower and around 530 Nm of torque. The power increase ensures a noticeably sharper
01:25driving experience, livelier, direct, and more emotional. Anyone seeking sporty intensity without
01:31losing sight of everyday life should be in the right place. The biggest technological leak comes
01:37with the new Carrera GTS. For the first time in the history of the 911, Porsche is relying on hybrid
01:44technology here, but not for the sake of efficiency. Instead, under the hood, a 3.6-liter turbocharged
01:53six-cylinder boxer engine is combined with an electric motor. Together, they deliver 534 horsepower
02:01and around 560 Nm of torque. Acceleration is correspondingly impressive, but the truly amazing
02:09thing is that the typical 911 driving feel is retained. The additional boost from electrification
02:15integrates seamlessly into the familiar driving experience. More power without distorting the
02:21character. Every single version of the new Porsche 911 will continue to be manufactured in
02:27Zucunenhausen, a place where cutting-edge technology meets decades of sports car tradition.
02:34The new 911 isn't just faster. It demonstrates that progress and tradition can co-exist.
