00:00Loves her as a person. Thinks she's a very good person.
00:16Well, this has been some start from Kilomitova. What a first game.
00:19Start of this year.
00:30This is almost a free hit, isn't it?
00:34World Tennis Tours, they're now known.
00:47You know, you're not getting into the majors, you're not getting in direct to most WTA Tour tournaments.
00:52You can see from the way she started this match that she's got so many weapons and confidence about herself.
01:05I mean, this has been dreamlike from the 23-year-old.
01:23That's a wonderful combination, isn't it? The power with the touch.
01:28Big underdog here. Can just play with great freedom.
01:42Oh, there's a nice use of the slice from Andreva and then fining the corner of the court beautifully with
01:47the back out.
01:49Roman Andreva's career high is where she is, world number five.
02:05Oh, it's such good point construction using the new balls superbly.
02:09Being bullied around the court.
02:27Now, it's all a little passive from Andreva and Kilomitova just says, thanks very much. I'll take another point.
02:33Here's a break point for Andreva.
02:40Oh, no.
02:43Oh, get away with it.
02:46Straight away you could see it.
02:57Find that one though.
03:11Oh, wow.
03:12It's landed in.
03:13A little bit of fortune for Andreva and you can really say that about the set overall.
03:18The set that she was dictated to throughout.
03:22In the end though, just that little bit more solid than her opponent to get to world number three.
03:27Yeah, I think she'll certainly be thinking about it.
03:42I think you've got to take your moments.
03:44She puts that into the backhand.
03:46She's losing the point more often.
04:03Oh, steals the point.
04:05One thing you always have to admire with Andreva is her anticipation skills.
04:09That's why I use the A word acceptance for the B word balance, right?
04:13Getting that balance right.
04:15And that's it.
04:27Oh, it's perfect.
04:29Sneaks it over the net.
04:31She has that shot in her repertoire.
04:38Well, if you didn't watch the match,
04:40you would have thought,
04:41Oh, a 6-4, 6-1 win in an hour and eight minutes.
04:44What an easy win that was for Mirandreva.
04:47But that's a long way from the truth.
04:49It was really tested.
04:52Kinometeva will no doubt look back at the seventh game of the first set,
04:55but she had multiple game points for a 5-2 lead.
04:58But from that moment on...
05:00Welcome to the Lotus Court.
05:02Day two sets where it's straight to win.
05:04So talk about your match today.
05:06Can you recap it a little bit?
05:07Um, yeah.
05:09I'm super happy to be back playing on Lotus Court.
05:12It's one of my favorite courts.
05:14So first of all, I just wanted to say thanks for coming.
05:18And I know it's cold.
05:20It's windy.
05:25Yeah, I know the weather is a little bit ugly,
05:27but I just want to say thank you everyone for coming,
05:30for making an effort.
05:31Um, of course, it means a lot to see so many people watching us.
05:35Um, and yeah, about the match, I think Paulina,
05:38she's a very talented, uh, she's a very good player.
05:41She strikes the ball like crazy.
05:43Um, you know, I was, uh, trying to just, uh, be able to put the court,
05:49uh, put the ball back in the court.
05:50And, uh, it was very tough, especially with this wind.
05:53Um, I was, uh, kind of slowly finding my way, um, into this match,
05:58but super happy that I was able to win it.
06:01Right.
06:01A little bit long, I'll try to keep the translation short.
06:05It's okay.
06:06I'm very happy to be back to the Olympic Games.
06:08This is one of my favorite teams.
06:10Of course, I want to say that today's weather is great.
06:13Actually, the weather may have impact on people watching the games.
06:17But I'm very happy to see so many players watching the Olympic Games
06:20and watching the Olympic Games.
06:21为我们加油祝 非常地感谢大家
06:23那同时要说到这场比赛
06:25我的对手Kuda Maito
06:40So, well we
06:42Yeah, thank you
06:44Right, we just noticed about
06:47During the first set changeover
06:50Both Conchita and you have some talking about
06:54Is it any strategy you change or keep that momentum on
06:57To get second set very smoothly?
07:00Well, I think what Conchita tells me
07:04Just purely depends on how the match is going
07:07So, if I'm playing well
07:10I feel comfortable
07:12She sees that I'm kind of
07:15The one that is dictating the match
07:17Then I think she says less
07:19She talks less to me
07:21You know, she tries to kind of
07:24Not let me out of my focus
07:26But if she sees that I struggle on the court
07:30Then I don't know
07:31Maybe she feels that she has something to say
07:34Maybe something to change
07:35Then that's when I think
07:36She's trying to, you know
07:38Kind of, you know
07:39Hey Mira, look at me
07:40Like I have something to say
07:42And that's what we do
07:44Of course, you can see
07:46Of course, you can see
07:46He and the coach
07:47In today's competition
07:48Especially in the first round
07:49After the first round
07:49There were a lot of conversations
07:52There were a lot of conversations
07:54There were a lot of conversations
07:54Because if he's playing well
07:54Actually, the coach
07:54He'll let himself
07:55Keep it down
07:57And he'll keep it
07:58But today in the competition
07:59Maybe there were some
08:01He'll have some
08:02Very close
08:02Just like
08:03Just like Mira
08:04He'll give you
08:05For everyone
08:06Hi, hello
08:06Mira
08:07Look at me
08:08Here I have some
08:09I have some
08:09I have to tell you
08:10I have to tell you
08:15One more last question
08:17Defense to the crowd
08:18Please, anything
08:19Anything to the crowd
08:20Probably back to Diamond
08:23Maybe next match
08:35We're going to go
08:36We're going to go
08:37We're going to go
08:39We're going to go
08:39Thank you
08:39Thank you
08:40Thank you
08:41Thank you
08:42Thank you
