00:08Greetings, studios. We're here at the Marquetilla International Airport, Simón Bolívar,
00:12where the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Morley, has just arrived in an official visit
00:17to continue strengthening the bilateral relations that exist between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Barbados.
00:24This is the first visit to Venezuela this year by the Prime Minister of Barbados.
00:29We must recall that earlier this year, in April, Acting President Dusty Rodriguez,
00:34in her first international visit since assuming the presidency of the country, she traveled to Barbados.
00:40And in those bilateral meetings that took place in April since Barbados,
00:43both nations were able to strengthen even more the existing relations.
00:47We must recall that for more than five decades, Barbados and Venezuela have held important bilateral trade,
00:53important agreements, especially in the energy sector.
00:55And following the meeting of the Acting President Dusty Rodriguez and the Prime Minister,
00:59being more monthly, in Barbados last April, they were able to conceive even more agreements
01:03that will strengthen the current relationship of corporations that exist between the two nations.
01:07We must recall one of the important aspects was the production of food for Barbados
01:12on Venezuelan territory as part of an agreement to continue to strengthen food sovereignty
01:17between most nations and turn Venezuela and the region into a hub,
01:20not only for the Korean, but also for Africa.
01:22Another important agreement was in terms of energy with the introduction of opportunities for investment
01:27of Barbados energy companies in Venezuela.
01:30So we expect this visit that begins right now here in Venezuela, in Caracas,
01:35with the Prime Minister going to the Metaflores Palace right now,
01:38where she's going to be received by the Acting President Dusty Rodriguez.
01:42From there, we're going to have a numerous agenda, a very packed agenda,
01:45to continue strengthening those bonds of relationship and friendship and cooperation that exist between countries.

01:55After the Metaflores visit, she will then travel to one of the communes in the Paris 23rd, January 23rd,
02:01where Mia Morley is going to be able to see how the commune system here in Venezuela works,
02:06a commune system which is very important in terms for Venezuela,
02:09in terms of its social productive environment,
02:11and in a way to be able to produce and improve the life of all Venezuelans here in the country.
02:18And following that visit to the commune in the Paris of January 23rd,
02:23she's going to then go to the field hospital, Barbados Field Hospital,
02:26which was established in Guarenaguatire following the devastating twin earthquake of June.
