00:00Tomorrow's pretty special because it's the best partial eclipse from the UK. From northern Spain
00:06it's a total eclipse, but for us it's partial, which means the sun won't be completely covered.
00:12But from London, I think in the UK it's either 90 to 96% coverage, depending on where you are
00:18in the UK. In London it's around 90 to 91% coverage, so it's a really big partial eclipse.
00:25So there'll be kind of 10% of the sun visible at the point where the moon's at its maximum
00:32coverage,
00:32which is around 10 past seven, quarter past seven, around that time in the evening. Again,
00:38the time varies depending on where you are in the UK, but it's going to be really special,
00:43and I think the next one that is going to be as good is in 2081. So that's a long
00:49time to wait for
00:50the next one that's going to be good. There are going to be plenty of partial eclipses between now
00:53and then, but none as good or as much coverage as this one. And then the next total eclipse from
01:00the UK is in 2090, so I certainly won't be around to watch that, or the 2081 one, so this
01:06one is pretty special.
