00:00I'm going to be honest with you, for me the most important thing when you change your panel is, and
00:07I'm not going to lie, you've got to have a good look at the people, and that's true, which is
00:12why I chose myself.
00:15But more importantly, I got to know Robbie and I are his friends.
00:21We have tried to get Robbie on every show we've ever made, I think for 80 years.
00:28And then through Ida and Laura and they became friends and I got to know Robbie better, and it all
00:36happened so quickly.
00:38The guys came down to Britain's Got Talent one night, and I looked down and I thought, this is just
00:45perfect, I really want it to work.
00:47And that night we went back to my house, we had a little chat on the balcony, and we did
00:53the deal.
00:54Louie, I've been trying to get on these shows for years, and the fact that he's a contestant, what you
01:04don't know, which you will see a lot about Louie, is that he is brilliant with how, I've seen him
01:10come down to rehearsals, off camera, sitting with the contestants, you know, mentoring them.
01:16Ida is, we actually did an interview together in Los Angeles, and I have to say, it's one of the
01:21funniest, craziest interviews I've ever had.
01:23But what I picked up was, these two together, I figured we could say it for you, but I'd like
01:32to say that, like, The Rock, strong, probably making me a bit nuts.
01:37But also passionate about music, and I think what I keep hearing over the years on these shows, is almost
01:46what, I always think that what we, what the public feel is probably more important than what we feel.
01:50And I think Ida, even though that she's been looking after, or with Robbie for years, still have to, but
01:58also has a passion about people, and has a passion about people doing well, and an optimism.
02:03The whole idea this year was to make this an optimistic panel, people I actually, well I haven't liked everyone
02:09I've worked with, but I, when we finally got the, the okay that this was going to happen, and drive
02:16it in the gates today, for this, I've never felt so excited.
