SK Hynix is investigating a trade-secrets leak involving advanced CMOS sensor technology and former employees linked to Chinese competitors.

00:14The Seoul High Court upheld the sentence after finding the former employee
00:18guilty of disclosing information related to CMOS image sensor technology.
00:23The employee previously worked at SK Hynix's office in China.
00:27The court said he downloaded confidential documents from the company's internal server
00:31and printed or photographed some of them in violation of company security policies.
00:37He later included some of the confidential information
00:39in a resume submitted to an unidentified Chinese company.
00:43The employee admitted to all charges,
00:46and SK Hynix recovered most of the information.
