00:00This is our rescue Maggie. She's a former street dog and today she's going to be choosing her own
00:05food. She's going to have different options to pick from, one being on the bargain side and
00:09others that are outrageously expensive. Will her street dog instincts kick in and go for the cheaper
00:14option or does she now like the finer things in life? And because we couldn't let her have all
00:19the fun, our other two dogs will also be joining in to make their picks. We're starting off with
00:25her appetizers. She's going to have a choice between dollar store bread or freshly baked artesian
00:30bread from a baker's and they're going to be complemented with cheap value peanut butter
00:36versus expensive peanut butter that will literally melt in your mouth. So Maggie, which one are
00:42you going to choose? Come in. Alright, go on then. Which one? Oh, cheap. Cheap and cheerful.
00:48She's sticking with the street dog roots. So Maggie chose the cheaper option but she's a
00:53street dog. Moki, on the other hand, has been living the good life ever since she's a puppy.
00:58So will she go for the cheap peanut butter on the dollar store bread or the expensive peanut
01:03butter on the artesian homemade fresh baked bread? That sounds nice. Alright Moki, let's
01:09see what you want. Yes. She's got taste. She's got taste. You're nice. You won't be the expensive.
01:17Moki, you can't have both. You pick the expensive, you have the expensive one.
01:23Alright, so it's Kobe's turn and sadly he is hyperallergenic so he's going to be getting
01:27slightly different meals today. Kobe's going to have a choice between these $1 turkey treats
01:32or these $10 100% turkey treats. Which one are you going to pick, Kobe? He's already eyeing
01:38one up. Yes. Cheap. Cheap. He likes the bargain. Oh, and likes the expensive too. He's greedy.
01:47He's not fussy. He didn't even eat the cheap. He didn't even breathe.
01:51Moving on to their main meal, the dogs will have two choices. A cheap veg versus expensive
01:56veg, cheap carb versus expensive carb and cheap meat versus expensive meat. Once they've chosen,
02:02we'll then chef everything up for them. Are you going to go for the cheap or the expensive? Are
02:07you going to stick to your street dog roots? Alright, ready Maggie? Alright, yes. Go on then. Yes. Go on.
02:14Expensive. Okay. Let's not eat a raw carrot. Good girl. Alright, Moki's turn to choose her
02:19vegetable. So far, she's gone for the expensive peanut butter and toast. So will she go for the
02:24expensive carrots or live the bargain life and go for the cheap carrots? Alright Moki, I can see you already
02:29iron up the expensive. Yes. The expensive. Okay. Well, I think she's chosen but alright. There's
02:34this cheap too. You know, you don't have to break my wallet. Alright, ready Moki? Yes. Okay.
02:39Too expensive it is. Maybe just a nibble. Yeah, you can have a tiny bit. Come on, bite it. Yummy.

02:48Bite it. Come on. Ow! So Kobe has a choice of cheap broccoli versus expensive broccoli.
02:54We've noticed that when things get expensive, they seem to change color,
02:58but do they actually taste any different? Well, Kobe's going to decide which he prefers.

03:25So for their carb, the dogs will have a choice between cheap potatoes from the bargain store
03:30and expensive from Waitrose. If you're from America, that's basically Whole Foods. Visually,
03:36these potatoes look exactly the same, but which will the dogs prefer the smell of?
03:40Maggie, which potato do you want? Come on. You need to pick your meal. Ready?
03:44Yes. Go on then. Yes. Go on. Do you know this is food? Go on then. Yes. Go on. What's

03:55Or cheap?

04:05Moki has gone for the expensive option every single time. I think we spoiled her a bit too much,
04:11but let's see if she goes for the cheap or the expensive potatoes. Yes. Oh my God.
04:17Expensive. Of course. This is what we get for having spoiled dogs.

04:25Kobe's going to have the option between rice that was literally under a dollar and quinoa.
04:29There wasn't really an expensive rice version, but once again, they throw in a bunch more colors
04:34and all of a sudden it's expensive. Rice or quinoa? That is quinoa.
04:39Yeah, it's quinoa. Yeah. Rice or quinoa? Quinoa's looking a lot nicer to me.
04:44You're a pretty expensive dog. So, yes. Yes.

05:10Oh, he does not like the quinoa. It's all right, Kobe. Some expensive stuff is weird anyway.
05:18So, now they get to choose between the good stuff. Bargain store steak versus steak fillet
05:23straight from the butchers. You can see a huge difference between these two. They're completely
05:27different colors and honestly, the cheap steak looks disgusting. The expensive steak looks unbelievable.
05:36Which one are you going to go just for your sake? And I know you're a street dog. I hope
05:39you choose
05:39the expensive one. I want you to have a taste of the finer life. All right, Maggie. Let go.
05:47Yes. She's so polite. Oh, okay. Well, she chose expensive first.
05:53Moki's turn to choose the steak, but we've actually switched things up this time. She's
05:57gone for the expensive food every single time. So, what we've done this time is we put expensive
06:02here and cheap here. Let's see which one she goes for. Yes. Cheap. Oh, lucky Moki. No, you don't get
06:10the expensive. I can't hold her. Kobe's got a choice between cheap cod fillets from the bargain store
06:16and cod loins, fresh from the fishmonger. And once again, there's a big difference in quality.
06:21The bargain store cod looks nasty and the cod loin has this amazing shine to it.
06:28So, Kobe's got the choice of expensive versus cheap cod. I really hope he goes to the expensive
06:32because the cheap looks nasty. He's ironed them both up. Please go for the expensive for your sake.
06:38Yes. Yes. I want to eat that one for my dinner. Yes. I know you ate the cheap,
06:44but that's my expensive boy. I'm hungry. Good boy. Kobe. So, now we're going to prepare the meals
06:51for the dogs. Maggie and Moki went for the expensive carrots and Kobe went for the expensive broccoli.
06:57Maggie went for the cheap potatoes. Moki went for the expensive for their carbs. Kobe then chose rice
07:03for his carb and for the meat. Maggie chose the expensive steak fillet. Moki went for the cheap
07:08steak and Kobe went for the expensive fish. And whilst this video was a bit of fun, there are genuinely

07:15lot of starving dogs out there and we felt kind of bad. So, we sent a donation to the rescue
07:19charity
07:20that Maggie came from to help feed their dogs. And just like that, their meals are done. We kept
07:26everything completely plain, no seasoning and only fed them in moderation. Kobe's rice, broccoli and fish
07:32and Maggie's and Moki's potatoes, carrots and steak. Maggie absolutely loved her meal. Her tail would not
07:39stop wagging. It's so nice seeing her enjoying herself given her rough previous street life.
07:45Yes. Good girl. Moki went absolutely ham. She's having the time of her life. Oh yeah, Moki. There is no
07:52body there. No breathing. And gentle Kobe literally inhaled his food. I've never seen him eat like that before.
