00:01Did you see the stylish kids in the riot
00:06Shuffled up like rocks at the night on fire
00:09Wambles bleed, truncheons and shields
00:11So we started rehearsing last week with the Libertines
00:14and it all kind of came back, very slowly but surely
00:18because I haven't had a chance to listen to anything
00:20I haven't had a chance to rehearse anything
00:23and so it just all kind of fell back into place
00:26I'd say for a lot of people that seem odd to do a big spot of Reading and Leeds
00:31and then go back to little pubs and stuff
00:32but for me that's all I've ever done really
00:35to build the teams and from stadiums to bathrooms and back again
00:40so yeah, that's how I love it, that's it really well
00:44The difference between being in a studio with the Libertines and Invasion of
00:48especially now, you've got Jan who's like the lead singer, mainstream writer of Yeti
00:53Pete with his Baby Sham with his solo album
00:56Carl who's just done his own solo album as well
00:58we've got a band of four who are all the leaders of their own band
01:03so you know at times it's been very very kind of
01:07there's been a lot of mixed signals sent
01:09regarding how we should actually move forward as a band
01:11within the next couple of weeks and how we should work together
01:14so I've just pretty much kept on that point
01:15and just kind of just try to lock into what I'm doing
01:20which is erm, I mean if I get it round
01:23then we're in a lot of trouble
01:24basically
01:25yeah it's funny, it's like opening up the whole world
01:28it's really like ten years
01:30well it seems like ten years since you first got everything together
01:34six years of just sort of stasis
01:36and you get back in the room and it's like the six years haven't happened
01:40and you're forgetting about all these different facets of your friends
01:42and yeah the good and the bad
01:46but mainly the good I'd forgotten about
01:49so I mean it's pretty electric chemistry
01:51it hasn't really changed a bit
01:54so yeah it's exciting
01:55thank you
