00:07targeting violent offenders in Ryde, New South Wales.
00:11The operation was launched following the alleged armed assault of a 43-year-old man at a unit in Tilopia
00:18earlier this month.
00:19Police allege four men threatened the victim with a knife and baseball bat before assaulting him on July 11th.
00:27As part of the investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a Tilopia unit,
00:33allegedly seizing a baseball bat and an electronic stun device capable of shock up to 98,000 volts.
00:41A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with weapons and intimidation offences
00:46and remains before the courts after being refused bail.
00:50The operation then expanded into a high-visibility policing blitz across the area,
00:55with officers carrying out bail compliance checks, domestic violence compliance inspections
01:01and firearms prohibition order searches.
01:05Police also recorded three positive roadside drug tests, issued two consorting warnings
01:11and arrested two people wanted on outstanding warrants linked to alleged domestic violence offences.
