00:09upgrades here. We've been waiting for silicon carbon batteries in a Samsung phone for a long
00:13long time and the Chinese phones have been doing it for a few years and then with last year's fold
00:17it felt like Samsung was finally ahead of the pack with everything it was doing in terms of design
00:21except for silicon carbon batteries. So for me that's the biggest upgrade I think and it'll be
00:25interesting to see how it performs in reality. As the guys have been saying finally we've got
00:28silicon carbon. I've been ranting my videos of the folds and the S series that everybody else
00:35is using silicon carbon but it's great that Samsung's finally here at the game and having
00:40that extra battery life is amazing for a fold. When you're using that larger screen which is what
00:45you really want to do with it you do go through the battery very quickly so having that larger battery
00:49I would have liked it to be a little bit bigger if I'm honest with you because again when we're
00:52looking at the competition some of these other foldables are going up to the 6000 mark but
00:57nevertheless at least it's here and it's 5000 so I'm pretty happy about that. And on the battery
01:01point I think that's that's maybe my biggest frustration with the 7. I mean I use it a lot
01:07and I don't know what I don't know why even though the 7 is meant to have better battery than
01:11the 6
01:12anecdotally I've always found it's just a little bit less less usage time and I've spoken to several
01:18other people that use it regularly and they've all said the exact same thing and so I'm very happy that
01:23the Fold 8 Ultra will have more battery to it because you know that's what you want you don't
01:29want it running out halfway through the day.
