00:00If you think you know everything about New Orleans, it's time to take another trip.
00:03I made my way to breakfast at Casa Miro.
00:05It's a cute and casual bistro in the Bywater, before doing a little shopping around Magazine Street.
00:09For lunch, I took the streetcar uptown to the Chloe.
00:12It's a boutique hotel with a super cute cafe, where I had the most delicious pasta.
00:16After finishing up a day of walking through the city, I settled in for dinner at the Kingsway.
00:21Every bite at this Michelin-recommended restaurant was impeccable.
00:24Miraculously, I woke up hungry, so I kicked off my morning with a pastry smorgasbord from IU Bakehouse.
00:29Now, I'm a potter and an artist myself, so the Ogden Art Museum was a must on my list.
00:34The expertly curated exhibits showcase southern artists.
00:37After eating and shopping away another afternoon on Magazine Street, I stopped for a pre-dinner cocktail at Jewel of
00:43the South.
00:44The chef must have thought I looked hungry, because he set out a few beautiful small plates that I could
00:48not resist snacking on.
00:50I managed to leave just enough room for a chill, vibey dinner at Junebug.
00:54This super cool spot is part restaurant, part vinyl listening lounge.
00:57The menu is kind of like a jukebox of small plates, so you can pick a bunch of your favorite
01:01hits, share with your friends, and enjoy as much as you can.
01:04Y'all, I knew I loved New Orleans, but after this art and food field trip, I'm already thinking about
01:09my next visit.
01:10So, I'll see you next time.
01:10Let's do that.
