00:32We witnessed this tornado tear through a wooded area near Wiggins, Mississippi, Thursday morning.
00:39The tornado left behind a path of damage, with large trees toppled over and some roads blocked.
00:45Creeks spilling out of their banks in just a matter of minutes,
00:49flooding businesses, homes, and roads across the region.
00:53Some bridges even went underwater.
00:55These utility crews seen braving the high water to get to damaged areas,
01:01while police turned around other drivers concerned about the force of the rushing water.
01:06Some families dealing with back-to-back tornado warnings,
01:09followed by flash flood warnings and even flash flood emergencies.
01:14AccuWeather meteorologists say this first tropical threat of the season
01:17poses an extreme risk to lives and property in parts of the Gulf Coast.
01:22And this situation could become even more dangerous after dark in some communities.
