00:01country music is steeped in history right or i guess you could say history is steeped
00:06in country music i mean it goes both ways and there's now a new docuseries that is made
00:12by country musicians about country musicians but a very specific group of them it's called
00:20they called us outlaws and it'll premiere on south by southwest in austin texas on march
00:2615th and it looks amazing it'll be a 10-part series produced by country legends jesse coulter
00:33and ray benson along with jack ingram and willie nelson's biographer joe nick potoski very cool yeah
00:42um here's what chris christopherson has to say i don't think that would have been the brand name
00:47that we would have chosen to be outlaws i think that we went our own way and spoke our own
00:54words
00:55because we believe them and believe that that's what we were set down here on the planet to do
01:01so the docuseries has interviews and performances with over 100 country personalities including
01:07christopherson miranda lambert eric church tyler childers um the flatlanders uh kicks brooks and
01:14ronnie dunn parker mccollum ashley mcbride turnpike troubadours like there's 100 of them wow right it
01:20it is so impressive um no word yet on the wide release but it looks so good i'm so excited
01:29for
01:29this i love diving into the history it helps us learn so much about how country music has evolved
01:34and where it is today and where it's going and in the trailer there's a clip of miranda lambert saying
01:39every day i wake up and i say how can i do better how can i be better and how
01:44can i make the people who
01:45came before me proud and i thought like that is what country music embodies right like that's what
01:51these musicians are actually doing every day especially somebody like miranda who takes it very
01:56seriously
