00:04system for the health sector that seeks to mitigate the mobility crisis exacerbated by
00:09fuel shortages due to the illegal blockade facing the island.
00:12In its initial phase, the fleet in Havana will operate with 25 buses and 9 electric
00:17mini-buses.
00:18The service will connect the main hospitals in the capital to ensure the transportation
00:22of healthcare personnel, patients requiring special treatment and medical supplies.
00:26The project will be extended to other provinces with the adoption of 15 electric mini-buses
00:32and 34 electric cargo vans.
00:34The investment, which exceeds $5 million, was financed by the Public Transport Development
00:38Fund.
00:39In addition, the buses will offer service to the general public on specific routes for
00:43a price of 20 QNP.
