00:06every year. The relationship between Newcastle United fans and Eddie Howe remains a remarkable

01:30to experience the love from the fans. That was a special connection and I'm grateful it's still there.
01:37At the heart of this bond is Howe's authenticity. Fans appreciate his tires work ethic and his refusal to
01:43make excuses even when forced to name two goalkeepers on a bench or play defenders out of position for
01:49months on end. The Gallagher 10 continues to roar his name recognizing that the current slump
01:55is a symptom of physical exhaustion rather than a lack of vision.
02:00In some senses his mobility and his legs and his desire to press has made the team play better so
02:06that's why I went with it today and it's got a fluid look about it. He can drift wide,
02:10he can come lower but he's got that pace that threatens the opponent's back line. So I was
02:14delighted with his attitude and his work rate today and I thought the team responded well to it.
02:19Yeah, I just love the feeling of winning and I love the feeling of winning for the players,
02:23for my staff, for the supporters and of course for myself because ultimately we're working to win and
02:30if you're not achieving that, as I said in our last game, you feel like you're letting everybody down.
02:34So that was a great feeling, it was a great moment for us because we need to use it, we
02:40need to
02:40harness it, all the spirit that we showed today, we need to harness it for our next games.
02:44And in sport increasingly driven by knee-jerk reactions, Newcastle's unity serves a powerful
