00:04I'm Ernest Clothier and I've run Moor & Sons in Froome for 54 years.
00:12We used to serve lots of farms, general public, we'd sell all the feed,
00:18chicken, cattle, pig, pork, you know, all that sort of thing,
00:22and a lot of gardening, dog food, cat food.
00:26You know, we were so busy when we first came,
00:29and it made the business even better in the 70s and 80s.
00:33When I look back, the trade was really enormous.
00:40Getting towards 80, bags are getting heavier.
00:45I've got two daughters, but they don't really want it.
00:48The trade really has declined over the last few years.
00:52I don't think anyone would want it. It's a dying trade.
00:55Sign of the times.
00:57I've sold the property and just closing the business.
01:01I will miss the chit-chat and the customers, but I'll find plenty to do.
01:07My daughter, eldest daughter, tells me that I'd be decorating up her house before very long,
01:12and I've got plenty of my own today, so I won't run out of work for a little while.
01:17I'll see you now.
01:17Well.
