00:09all right futures are slightly green here ahead of wednesday's open we'll see if that changes
00:14when we get the data print coming prior to the open s&p futures up 0.11 percent dow futures
00:20up
00:200.11 and the nasdaq futures up 0.11 so we rarely see all of those exactly even but that
00:27is in fact
00:28the case here today we'll see if we can hang on to green or if we make a red green
00:32move
00:33when we get some of that data here today let's take a look at some cues from last session
00:40communication services financial and consumer staple stocks led losses on tuesday
00:46as most s&p 500 sectors fell though utilities and real estate shares rose
00:54on tuesday the dow jones index hit a new record for the third consecutive day this came even as
01:00the nasdaq composite dropped over 100 points we talked about the rotation out of big cap tech
01:06saw some more of that there yesterday investors are bracing for u.s or for excuse me for january's
01:11u.s employment report unemployment rate and hourly wages data which is scheduled to be released today
01:16before the market opens that's the data that we're kind of waiting on here meanwhile the 10-year treasury
01:21bond yielded 4.13 and the two-year bond was at 3.45 the cme's fed cme groups fed watch
01:29tool projections
01:30now show that the market is pricing in a 78.9 percent likelihood that the federal reserve leaves the
01:35current interest rates unchanged in march now it's still a very high percentage but when we first started
01:42reporting this we were in the mid 90s now we're in the high 70s so it worth it's worth watching
01:48going
01:48forward here but i don't think that the move down yet in this percentage is enough to really think
01:55that we might get a cut uh we actually heard from hammock earlier this week beth hammock earlier this
02:00week um she talked about wanting to get inflation down to the two percent target before they cut again
02:05we all know where powell stands and all of that so to me it just seems like it's this is
02:10just a bridge
02:11too far to cross to get those interest rates cut in march perhaps uh we'll leave it on on hold
02:17for
02:18another period here now we have several stocks in focus here for you today the first one is going to
02:22be cloud flare this is ticker n-e-t-e it's jumped 15.23 percent in the pre-market on
02:29wednesday after
02:29reporting better than expected fourth quarter financial results and issuing full year 26 sales
02:34guidance above the estimates um really quickly the q4 adjusted eps it was a 28 cent uh eps that beat
02:43the 27 cent estimate uh sales were 614.50 million that beat the 591.27 million estimate so beat on
02:53the
02:54top and the bottom line there cloud flare sees q1 adjusted eps of 23 cents that was versus the 25
02:59estimate and sales of 620 to 621 million that was versus the 613 estimate so uh a raise there in
03:07guidance for q1 on the sales side the company said it sees full year 2026 revenue in the range of
03:132.79
03:14billion to 2.8 billion that's versus the estimate of 2.74 billion so they're definitely going to see
03:20some more sales here both in the first quarter and also in the full year here um this has me
03:27wondering
03:27is cloud flare one of these stocks that's a winner in ai uh we're going to be talking a lot
03:32more about
03:33ai uh whether or not it's a bubble or or if there are going to be huge winners in that
03:37i personally
03:38think there are both little preview there hint hint wink wink uh but cloud flare here um really kind of
03:44showing that it is you know one of the ai ai winners here uh the next stock on our list
03:49is going
03:49to be mattel this is ticker mat and it dropped 30.25 not a typo 30.25 after posting downbeat
03:58earnings
03:58for the fourth quarter the company reported quarterly earnings of 39 cents per share which
04:02missed the consensus estimate of 54 cents per share and boy what a miss that missed by 27.64 percent
04:09as far as sales go they had 1.767 billion that missed the 1.84 billion estimate and they see
04:17full
04:17year 26 adjusted eps of 118 to 130 that was versus a 175 estimate so a big guy down there
04:23sales 5.5 to 5.669 billion that's versus the 5.617 billion the other thing here about mattel we're
04:32gonna have to see how it finishes up but it is on pace for being its worst day ever in
04:38terms of
04:39performance and percentage change i had some notes here that i gathered the previous day was february 9th
04:452019 um where it dropped just about 20 so if this holds here today this would be the worst performing
04:53day for mattel in the company's history the next stock on our list is going to be ast space mobile
05:00the ticker on this one is asts you might hear some of us abbreviated as astis it rose 5.43
05:08after it
05:09announced the successful unfolding of its next generation bluebird 6 satellite and msti which
05:15is ticker msi said that it had added the satellite communication company to its all country world
05:21index so asts popping here in the pre-market the next stock on our list is going to be faraday
05:28future
05:29intelligent electric this is ticker ffai it advanced 5.4 after it signed upgraded agreements with its
05:37bridge strategy partner officially initiating the scaled implementation of its eia which is engineering
05:43ai bridge strategy so ffai trading up here as well the last stock on our list is an oldie but
05:51goodie
05:51it's cisco that's ticker csco that rose 0.27 as analysts expected to post quarterly earnings of
05:59102 per share on revenue of 15.11 billion that's after the closing bell today
