00:27In Davos, we're looking at what it takes for a national delegation to navigate the World Economic Forum,
00:34in particular the Kingdom of Morocco.
00:36It's got a tight schedule, and every minute counts.
00:42The day begins amid the Davos rush, as the Prime Minister moves quickly from arrivals to meetings,
00:48taking the stage to outline Morocco's economic ambitions to a global audience.
00:57agressivement imposées comme une logistique majeure,
01:00de nouveaux complexes portuaires, industriels renforcent l'arc atlantique,
01:04marocains et les corridors routiers, ferroviaires, numériques et demain gaziers.
01:09Around the Prime Minister, the delegation moves through the Forum,
01:15meeting partners and sharing Morocco's vision.
01:18Every conversation and panel is an opportunity to highlight the country's strengths in logistics,
01:24energy and innovation, and its role linking Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
01:29Helping to carry that message is the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Feta-Alawi,
01:34setting out Morocco's economic priorities and long-term strategy.
01:38It's all about jobs and about, I would say, impact on population.
01:45So we have a straightforward, I would say, strategy on many sectors,
01:49building ecosystem and sustainable growth.
01:53Morocco is definitely a geographical bridge,
01:56but we are also an industrial bridge, I would say,
02:00technology bridge and the human bridge,
02:02because we have strong roots in Africa
02:05and we are some kind of honest broker between the two continents
02:11because we can be a solution for European investors and industry.
02:17The Prime Minister also sets it out where Morocco sees its next phase of growth.
02:21After questions from the floor, the delegation moves on to their next engagements.
02:43Davos provides a constant hub of exchanges between policymakers, financiers, investors, and the global media.
02:50How's it going today?
02:53It's going great.
02:54Great day today at Davos.
02:56Very busy, busy day.
02:58We've been exchanging a lot of ideas, exchanging a lot of contacts,
03:03and connecting with a lot of people.
03:04So an excellent day for business.
03:07But you can't think of a better stage, global stage,
03:10to do what you're doing for Morocco, right?
03:12Exactly, absolutely.
03:13This is why it is important for us to be here,
03:16to share the word that Morocco has become a world-class, sustainable hub for investment and trade.
03:23Also on the delegation's agenda is a Euronews roundtable.
03:27It focuses on some of Morocco's top priorities,
03:30a business-friendly policy environment,
03:32major infrastructure, and innovation that stretches beyond traditional sectors.
03:37Morocco is so strategically positioned.
03:39It's positioned in Africa, in Mediterranean, and really at the gateway to the Atlantic.
03:44And I think in a time where we're seeing supply chains being disrupted,
03:48we're seeing how important it is that near-shoring,
03:51that we have sort of proximate supply chains.
03:55Morocco is today the largest passenger car manufacturer in Africa,
04:00with a total capacity exceeding 1 million cars a year.
04:03So it's showing that we were capable of building a serious, serious ecosystem,
04:11built around a large number of suppliers.
04:13Morocco is also the first country in Africa to have a high-speed train,
04:18and not only a high-speed train, but a fully powered with green energy.
04:22Through countless meetings and discussions here at Davos,
04:25Morocco's delegation has highlighted the country's long-term vision,
04:28infrastructure and innovation, signaling why it continues to attract global investors.
04:36That's it for this edition of Focus from Davos.
04:39Morocco's presence here reflects its role on the international stage
04:43and just how national leadership navigates
04:46one of the world's most influential economic gatherings.
