00:00We've had 50 plus mile per hour gusts yesterday afternoon. We've stayed 30 plus, 30 to 40 today.
00:06That's still enough to cause some problems though. So zooming into radar and satellite,
00:10I want to show you we do still have in the last six hours some of these areas of darker blue.
00:14Those are the heavier bands of lake effect snow south of Buffalo as well. So while it's starting
00:19to diminish a bit, we do still have some of those heavier bands. I mean, south of Buffalo in the last
00:2424 hours, we've totaled in some areas a little over 24 inches, two feet of snow. So where are
00:31the concerns? Well, bit by bit, we're seeing some of the winter storm warnings, some of the winter
00:34weather advisories allowed to expire. However, others remain in effect as we have more snow on
00:39the way tomorrow. Here's like what to expect Wednesday into Thursday. So two things you're
00:44seeing on this map. It's the lake effect snow, but it's also that clipper. So a little bit more
00:48widespread one to three area compared to the last couple of days of lake effect snow. But you'll
00:54notice the areas in the darkest shade of blue, the six to 12 inch areas, and even up to our Acura,
00:58the local Stormax, 18 inches. It's just about the same places that have been hit with feet of snow
01:03this week, last week. You know the drill. You know how this goes. Let's take a look at future radar
01:09and clouds. They'll give you an idea of exactly how it all plays out. So lake effect snow starts to
01:14diminish tonight, but we really don't get much of a break because the clipper moves in right after
01:176 a.m. tomorrow, widespread snow in Michigan. Keep that in mind for your morning commute. We could
01:22see some issues. Then the Ohio Valley really starts to see some action. Some of you that haven't had
01:27some snow or rain in the last couple of days. 3 p.m. we have the line moving through. That caused
01:32issues for your evening commute. But even, I mean, look at the widespread snow in the northeast
01:36Pennsylvania, New York State. It starts to break up and then we're just left with the lake effect snow
01:40for your day. On Thursday, you're going to start to see some action. The bottom of your screen now as we go
01:45through Friday. That's our late week storm that we have to talk about. So might as well dive into
01:51the details now.
