00:00Take a look at Michigan. We are accumulating according to an inch in some areas and that's what we're going to add on from the snow that you're seeing on radar right now. This is not a big impact as far as snow totals or really as far as anything other than there is snow falling and sticking to the ground a bit. But hey, Michigan, you've been hit with every system, it seems, for the last couple of weeks. So this is nothing for you. However, like I've been saying, it's the precursor to what comes tomorrow, which will be impactful. However, let's talk temperatures right now.
00:29We're in the teens in Cleveland and Buffalo in the 20s from Pittsburgh to Albany up towards Boston. Still in the 30s in New York, but that'll no longer be the case soon. These temperatures, enjoy them while you can because tomorrow, yes, we have another day of it, but then things really start to change. So where do things stand compared to where we typically are? Because yes, this tends to be, we're on the edge of the coldest part of the season. So Buffalo, you typically are in the teens. Pittsburgh, though, you're usually in the teens.
00:59Usually in the 20s this time of year. Instead, our forecasted low overnight is 12 degrees. Burlington, you're seeing quite the departure. Usually you are at about 12 for historical average. Instead, we can't make it above zero overnight. We're still below zero. What happens tomorrow? More 20s and 30s. It's feeling a little warm compared to what we've been dealing with the last couple of weeks. However, changes on the horizon.
01:23And one way you know that, even just from looking at this graphic, is the snow icons. Because what comes with snow? A frontal boundary. What happens behind a frontal boundary? Temperatures drop. Especially with this one, that front is going to cause a lot of problems.
01:39So let's take a look on future radar. Kind of set things up here. Now, we're seeing a bit more snow on radar right now than what we're seeing on future radar.
01:47However, as we go into the overnight hours, this is really why I'm showing you. It's what's to come. Take a look. Widespread snow from Detroit to Cleveland at 6 a.m.
01:56So if you head out bright and early to get to work or school, keep this in mind, especially around Chicago. Take a look at the dark blue here on the map.
02:04That means we're seeing some heavier snow falling. And this is the higher impact snow that I was talking about.
